It's the last assignment to our Tokyo otaku trip, I wasn't sure if it was Agent S' plan to visit this 7-storey store when he asked me explored the stretch of shops underneath the railway, north to our inn. We had really nice Taiyaki (Japanese pancake in the shape of fish and Yakisoba (Japanese fried noodle) along the way. Anyway, Yamashiroya store is accessible from the Ueno Rail Station on the main Yamanote Loop and a Ueno Park diagonally across. With all sort of toys at every level, it's definitely an utopia of toys and novelties for all ages. We especially spent more time at the Gunpla section admiring those awesome built kits. With this, I will end my otaku report to Tokyo together with Stanley.

well, after all these publications, i can see that Japan is a quite interesting place to visit; i would say, not only because the otaku culture, but for the japanese culture itself...
now, about the store (or stores) reviewed here, there are a lot of familiar faces, specially from the Gundam universe... however, this time, i put my eyes on "the other stuff", like the Keroro Gunso figures, or the Battleship Yamato kits, the armored suits (from a series that i can’t recall right now) and the anime movies related statues... there will always be good stuff for collecting !!!... =)
lol bro! i going back soon hahaha...

Indeed, Japan is my favorite place of visit and next Taiwan. I like places where I can find my hobbies and atmosphere with friendly people. Not just Gundam but any other toys... We should look beyond Gundam... I'm planning to go central Japan next year during March. However not otaku trip this time round but family trip. Still, I so looking forward to it.
