Macross / Robotech inspired Garbage Pail Kids ROY Bot Great Battroid Pack (GBP) armor. Do you remember Love ❤️💙… Deculture! I’m pretty sure, I have seen this Macross / Robotech inspired Garbage Pail Kids ROY Bot on magazine in my younger days… Anyway, it’s too cute to resist especially in that Great Battroid Pack (GBP) armor.
Doesn’t matter if you are a Macross or Robotech fan... We want you! Super Deformed VF-1A Ben Dickson figure, standing 3", is from a blind box series released by Toynami during Robotech 30th Anniversary. I only get one box to test my luck and obviously my fortune is Ben Dixon aka Kakizaki. Lolz... Super Deformed VF-1A Ben Dixon figure is now my latest companion to Super Deformed VF-1S Roy Focker. I had drawn some panel lines to the figure to add some details. The thing I like about this figure is that the super deformed was not overdone and the green visor on the head has that glass look.
Here is the product description: Protecting Earth from alien conquest has never been more adorable than with these Robotech 30th Anniversary Super Deformed Series 1.5 Mini-Figures, each standing 2 to 3-inches tall. There are 6 different characters from the anime series Robotech featured in the line, including Pilot Max Sterling, VF-1J (Rick Hunter), VF-1A (Ben Dixon), VF-1J (Max Sterling), Battlepod - Stealth, and Destroid Tomahawk - Marine.
I have started a shift of interest from transformable mecha toy to mecha statue and I practically gave up my transformable Veritech Alpha Fighters for this bookends. The Veritech Alpha Fighter is an asset of Mospeada and migrated to the universal of Robotech, the VFA-6H was Earth's premier 3rd-generation transformable fighter, serving the REF through its mission in deep space and the reclamation missions to Earth. The H version was marked with blue colouring and was typically flown by officers such as Scott Bernard.
In year 1935, the second generation of Alpha fighters were introduced. These would be the primary models which would participate in the Third Robotech War and endear themselves to the many Earth resistance groups which operated the units during the years of occupation. The 6H, 6I, and VE-6B models were specifically designed to replace the now decade old 6A, 6B and VE-6A models respectively. Made by Toynami, Display your Alphas in style with this handsome companion piece to the Robotech Masterpiece Alpha Collection from Toynami, the Robotech Scott Bernard VFA-6H.
Bookends are intended function as bookends to the collection of Robotech Masterpiece Alpha volumes. Each bookend is sculpted by Shin Tanabe, finely detailed cold-cast porcelain sculptures can stand on their own as statues and stand approximately 8 inches tall( How I wished Toynami had made it bigger ). Anyway, the bookends featured an exciting battle tableau between Scott Bernard’s VFA-6H Alpha Fighter and an Invid Enforcer. Limited edition of 1,000 unit and I bought mine from Robotech.com Store which I must praise them for the reasonable pricing and excellent service and prompt reply when dealing with the unreceived parcel.
The VF-1D Valkyrie is a Veritech produced by U.N Spacy, most common used in training practice during the First Robotech (The Macross Saga) War. Its known pilots included Rick Hunter (Hikiru Ichigo) during his first (involuntary) battle and Jack Archer during training in the game Robotech: Battlecry.
Released in 2002 by Toynami, VF-1D Poseable figure from Toynami. This particular version is the limited version made for the San Diego Comic-con. Limited Production of only 3000 Made. Super Posable 6" figure was released as a 'ToyFare' exclusive repacked in with more premium box packaging rather than blister card in their earlier normal releases. Figure was sculpted by Shin Tanabe. Includes Telescoping Rifle Gun Weapon and 5 interchangeable hands.
The kneeling pose was quite the breakthrough back while some figures released around that time and they have even less points of articulation, not to mention that the kneeling pose you show in the pictures is virtually impossible with them
Though Toynami was marketing this line of Robotech non transformable figures as "Super Posable", these figures don't actually have many poses due to its few point of articulations.
Then again, this figure was produced before revoltech technology was found. Still, this figure has a few very cool poses with its wide spreading legs and kneeling capabilities. The antennas on the head can be rotated and in the anime acts as a pair of gun pods.
