I bought this back-to-the-past Zaku II Stereo Head Speaker, seriously not for the speaker function but as a timeless display item for my Zeon theme corner. Powered by two AA batteries, the speaker contacts to music devices by cable. Can hide the cable by coiling it around the short neck of Zaku. The technology of this mono-eyed speaker is way obsoleted taking consideration that it was released back in 2008. Current technology of mini speaker has reached the stage whereby it can be charged by USB cable and connected to devices by Bluetooth. The Zaku II is about 9cm in height and taller when attached to an optional leader antenna. Produced by Banpresto, Gundam Zaku Head Speaker was manned to be a lucky draw prize back in 2008 @ amusement arcade. Sieg Zeon!

The human figure should be the pilot for the Zaku behind?
yeah who cares about the speaker we all just need the head LOL
it was made with the same mold of the pen holder you published not so long ago... a promotional like this, works really good; as you pointed, the technological factor does very little to ruin the fun factor of this collectible !!!... i wonder if they have ever made something similar with RX-78’s head ???... =D

Not the pilot but the high command of Zeon.

This is quite like the Char's Zaku II head pen holder. Banpresto kind of improvising those head for more gimmicks. You are right about the Gundam head speaker, which I happened to have as well. Should find a day to blog about it.
