Glitch Cillic Designer Toys

"Horus"

"Inari"

"Hermes"

"Apollo"

"Bonehead"

How I got to like this series is when check up on "Bonehead", the character (Test Subject) with the number "56" on the helmet. Nonetheless, Cillic series is 4" tall super deformed figure versions of Glitch 1/6 scale line. If I'm to rank them, my 2nd favourite would be "Inari" (Fox Helmet), followed by "Hermes"(Flame on Helmet) and sharing the last spot are "Apollo" plus "Horus".

The concept artist is Bryan Lie and he is believed to be based in Indonesia as "Cillic" is based on Indonesian word "Cilik" which means small or tiny. Don't quote me... Each figure comes with a magnetic base whereby metal embedded on the foot would secure the figure. All figures can hold up on its own without the base except "Apollo" due to heavy weight because of the ring on the helmet. They are very adorable and easy to bring out for phototaking.

Those are some very cute and yet a bit subversive designer toys, just like any collectible of this kind should be!... Never heard of this brand or of developments in this segment from Indonesia and that’s why I find them even more interesting... The quality and level of detail is quite good and the magnetized base is a witty touch, eliminating the need of pegs, that can be broken easily sometimes... I find interesting as well the concept of cosplay involved in these figurines and while each one has a different design, I can see there is nod to mythology, OH and they look great on the street!...

These characters have been released in 1/6 scale for quite a while. I thought the designer is Taiwanese.

True, the magnets 🧲 gimmick that removes pegs is a innovative way. I like the SD version over the 1/6 scale..
