Fate Series Cú Chulainn Trading Figures

Cú Chulainn is an Irish mythological demigod and highly publicised in anime as a lancer-class servant in the Fifth Holy Grail War of Fate/stay night. It is also through Fate Series anime, I have taken a liking in this character. Cú Chulainn is a gifted warrior and displayed lots of confidence in his fight. He also a good match against Saber Arthur inflicting a permanent wound to her with his crimson red cursed spear, the "Gáe Bulg".

Till day, I would consider the 1/8th scale figure of Cú Chulainn by Orange Rouge as the ultimate non-posable figure. Unfortunately, my budget allocation for Fate series figurines is limited so I am sticking to two of these trading figures in my current collection. Having said that, even these trading figures ain't so easy to obtain. They stand approximately 12cm. I'm impress for its size by the amount of details and neat paint job. Both have close likeness to the character in the anime though Cú Chulainn had been re-illustrated in many form especially in the game.

That’s an interesting character indeed, you don’t happen to see many knightly warriors skilled in the use of spear, also the design of the suit is quite futuristic and gives a sense of nimbleness that is not related with someone using a spear (a long range weapon, kind of heavy and accordingly associated with slow attacks), but I guess it’s fine when you consider that this is a story that takes place in an alternative medieval universe!...

Yeah! Very badass character and he’s really nimble in the anime. Carries that medieval yet futuristic attire... The way he’s portray in the story makes me like the tragic warrior even more.
