It's the year of the dragon on Chinese Zodiac therefore blogging on Dragon Wong from 'Dragon Tiger Gate' deemed an appropriate timing. Dragon Wong is another key character in the comic and the elder brother of Tiger Wong. His insignia is the lightning logo on the chest. Unlike his younger brother, Dragon martial art skills are more specialised on arm-attack. Dragon adapted better to situation due to his composed personality. However, he's constantly in a dilemma between protecting those he honored in the gang and upholding the teaching of 'Dragon Tiger Gate'. In the real action movie, Dragon was played by the internationally renowned martial artist Donnie Yen. This trading figure by Jade Dynasty come with an extra accessory, which is the removable staff.

Last time Nicholas Tse, now Donnie Yen... quite cool... u have the complete collection now...
Oh yes, wanted only Tiger and Dragon Wong. The pair complete my small collection of Dragon Tiger Gate. Hee! Hee!
i find these figures from Dragon Tiger Gate very well sculpted and i guess this is supported for the great character design of the original series (which reminds me as well the Hokuto No Ken (Fist of the North Star) series, that i had seen not so long ago...
now, just a personal thought... the character of the real action movie looks for me like an skinny dwarf, compared with the original character... LOL XD
No doubt on the excellent sculpt of this series of JD trading figures. I have watched 'Fist of the Northern Star' too! The famous quote is "You are already dead". Btw, Donnie Yen ain't exactly big built, but has one of the better bodies among Asian celebrities.
Great score bro!!
Thx bro! I put in on display at my living room.
I like your photo of Dragon Wong back facing the camera and the sky as a background. Your skill of photography improving!
Thanx bro! I just wanted Dragon Wong to look more cool that it is. Shows the hunk and loneliness of a warrior.
These are such nicely detail figures for such small size. They 'tower' above so many others.
Nice that you got the 2 you were looking for.
I don't get that lucky :(
Guess I'm quite lucky to find these on my local eBay during the time I was searching them. There also some toys that I don't have luck getting them or I had to pay a premium price for them.
