1/100 Customed Army Camouflage Gundam (Ground Type)

A butter trade with Kenny using some of my unbuilt GM kits for his 1/100 Scale Army Camouflage Gundam Ground Type. A bit of the background on this customized Gundam... It's based on the second generation of Singapore Arm Forces (SAF), forrest camouflage combat uniform. Must be an inspiration during his national service days! The camou design is very appropriate for ground type MS like this especially in the anime, battles were fought in dense tropical rain forest.

Kenny wanted to keep his collection to 1/144 scale that's why he gave up this piece. It's really my gain adding this beautiful piece to my collection of MG kit. This 1/100 scale  Customed Army Camouflage Gundam Ground Type is sooooo.... well built that is depressing too... I'm sooooo..... far away to achieve this level! I using my collection of MG Gundam EZ-8 and Tamiya Remote control T-34 Russian WWII tank in some of the pics.

MSIA GM Ground Type

Another disposable hero (grunt unit) commonly seen during the anime 'Gundam Team 08th' is this GM Ground type ~ RGM-79 (G). This is the basic Feddie's GM mobile for ground type first assigned to Lt Matt Healy's Experiment Team before the released of the all terrain mass produced GM. In Gundam 'Lost War Chronicle' manga, these GM Ground type ~ RGM-79 (G) were initially deployed for the purpose of collecting and analyzing data in combat condition. It's also the basic unit which GM Sniper derived from. If you have noticed, the Earth Federation's Ground mobile suits featured in Gundam 08th all are equipped with small shields, which I think is for better mobility inside the dense jungle. This MSIA RGM-79 comes with missile launcher and Type-61 tank so collectors will feel that's more value for money.

MSIA Gundam RX-79G

This is a re-blogged post of my Mobile Suit In Action 'MSIA' Gundam RX-79G. I have taken pics of the action figure again to give it a fresh look. Based on the RX-78 prototype, the Earth Federation Ground Forces developed this Gundam variant ground-type (from Luna Titanium alloy) for earth combat. Around 20 units were manufactured at Jabaro, of which 12 were sent to the Kojima Battalion in South Asia and 3 assigned to 08th MS squad.

This MSIA Gundam Ground has provided much fun as it's very posable and comes with many accessories like the beam saber, beam rifle, 100mm machine gun, 180mm cannon and the backpack. Too bad the multi-launcher isn't included.

Gundam Team 08th - MG Gundam Ez8

Introducing my my Sangokuden BB Gongsun Zan Ez8 too!

Time to draw the curtain after the completion to my MG Ez8 which I had done without customization to retain it's originality. An excellent excuse to cover up my incompetence. Hee! Hee!

Continuing from my previous WIP, I had sprayed the gun and bazooka with dull grey, applied the scratch on stickers, more panel lining before a finish coat of matt spray. As simple as it is...

Some cool features of MG Ez8 would be the opening mechanism on the chest as well as the pocket on the legs that conceal beam saber. A good addition, the bazooka can be taken apart and be arranged neatly inside the backpack. The method of which the backpack was mounted won my praises too.
