Another toy passed over to me for review is this KO version of Transformers Nike Crossover. An obvious telltale is the double Nike ticks on the toy. It's a 1/2 scale miniature toy about 6" in shoe mode with exactly the same transformation as the original version. I know cos I got this loose so I referred to Youtube for its transformation.
IMHO, I prefer the toy in sneaker mode as the lace and shoulder top pieces seems awkward in robot mode. The aesthetic at front view is seemly ok however looking at Megatron from the rear looks terrible. Megatron wears the same sneaker it transforms into feels a bit cringy. It's not all bad as good features of this toy are the use of real shoe laces and how Megatron weapon conceal smartly by clipping onto the inner wall of the sneaker.

I heard and read about this transformable sneaker some years ago, I mean, the licensed ones, but I didn’t know that KOs were made based on this concept... In shoe mode looks incredibly realistic, even in this KO form, almost as much as the licensed did and that’s something you have to acknowledge... I agree that in robot mode the result is not too convincing, but bearing in mind that the alternative mode is a sneaker, well, I think the effort in terms of design makes it worth it!... It’s kind of curious and ironic how they modified slightly the Nike symbol to "avoid legal issues"...

It's cool to see the toy done so close to the shoes. The original version even has a box similar to the shoes box which will make go display. It's an interesting collaboration. As this is not my line of collection. I have passed it to another friend.
Yes agree. The back of the robot looks bad and Megatron look is ugly!!
Only focus on front view lol..
