Keep on SHINING SHINING... Legend of Heavenly Sphere 'Shurato'天空戦記 シュラト is IMHO an underrated anime that share the genre of Saint Seiya with mythic armour donning heroes. This anime I would say is different from Saint Seiya as it relates more to Hindu and Buddhist mythology rather than horoscope. The story focused mainly on protagonist Shurato Hidaka who got transported to a mystery land and begins his struggle as the King Shura 修羅王シュラト.
The toys and model kits are really hard to find. The anime is more popular in South America and Europe therefore we see more bootleg figures in those regions. The Bandai model kit is the legit merchandise that I know and I'm glad to get this built and painted kit. Of course, I have the modern recent figure by 'Kids Logic' but this definitely has a special place in my heart.
Kudos to the builder of this model kit as it is not easy to paint this super plain vintage model kit, especially those yellow paints that run along the edges on the armour. The seam line that runs vertical on the mystic beast lion armour on the chest is too obvious so I used super glue to fill the gaps and painted the white over the glued area with Gundam marker.n interesting gimmick of this model kit is that the shakti armour can be transferred to a Tamiya car like its been used as a surf board in the anime.

Still waiting Bandai or Someone else to pick up this IP again
Kidslogic did 2 of the characters some years back. Recently, I came across news of third party toy company following up.
Bro, you used super glue to fill the gap and painted colour on the glued area..Great skills to do model kits!
The super glue fill gap technique is more of a lazy way when comparing to patty. It is a hack taught by a friend. Not even consider a skill ^_^
