Banpresto Zaku II F2 DX High Scale Model Figure

DX high scale Model MS-06F2 ZAKU II Figure Of Zeon that was previously owned by me. I had gave up this piece after having the MG Gunpla. A non-posable 1/100 Scale figure by Banpresto in 2008 as prize item I supposed. What attracted me was the enlarged armor on the shoulders and legs. The sculpt is neat and sharp. One obvious flaw would be the rifle is made of ABS and it tends to bend. Well, the solution is hot water or hair dryer treatment again. I had to do is using panel lining and additional Zeon water-slide decals. Also a norm for me to end with a matte top coat. For spraying top-coat using epoxy spray can, it's good to keep a distance of 20cm between nozzle and item. I had taken a pic of the figure before touch up for comparison.

Is this Zaku from the Origin 1?

seems a good idea to customize your PVC statues, specially if we are talking about a piece made by Banpresto, where the quality in sculpt is very good... fortunately the statue has the right scale for some spare decals from a MG model... indeed works much better for exhibition and adds more "life" to the collectible... nice work there, pal !!!... =D

Vain Garma think too much about beautifying things and hence he didn't notice when he was sabotaged to his death by the Red Comet : p

Anyway nice to bro. Trust you to have the idea to spruce up the toy. Nice!

I would say 'yes' for that matter that Zaku II was shown during the OYW scene in the movie anime 'Gundam Origin I Blue-Eyed Casval'. 'No' for the fact that Zaku II was not introduced yet as the anime only showed some very antique guntanks. Nonetheless, Zeon had the upper hand when the war broke out with the introduction of humanoid mobile suit Zaku I which later progressed to Zaku II.

Thx bro! I kind of just did the basic. Like the enlarged spikes and shoulder pads of this Banpresto figure. The torso is also trimmed slimmer. Unfortunately, I sold this piece and gotten myself the Bandai MG instead. Good thing I took pics of it before selling off.

Ha! Ha! Now can't help laughing over how Char took Garma for the ride to hell and in Origin I, he was an innocent boy wanting to befriend Casval. Well, he was the best looking Zabi though.. Zieg Zeon!
