Yodabashi Akiba (Gundam, Toys & Books)

Before my Otaku trip, Yodabashi Akiba was rumored to be like a warehouse of Gunpla. When I finally visited this 9-storey-megamall which it hard to miss after exited from Akihabara JR train station, it really like an utopia of Gunpla. Though the megamall is renowned for its electronic products, it had dedicated one entire storey for various toys for all ages and a large area for model kits alone. The store would frequently make announcement that it has English and even Mandarin speaking staffs to make shoppers' shopping experience a present one. Tax refund is also available at the store. Just tell the salesperson you're a tourist and present your passport upon payment and they will deduct the tax from the bill.

Yeah! Mega stores with Japanese toy goods kind of only found in Japan to wow us over. The warehouse of Gunpla, model kits, toys and anime related merchandises. Akihabara is really the coolest place on earth for any anime lovers.
