1/60 Brocken Labor See Type-7B/2B

I didn't notice this snap-fitted kit till Stanley brought it to my attention just before I left the flea market and here it is added to my collection with some minor touch-up. It's the kind kit dug out from museum which traced back to year 1999 by Bandai. Made up of few parts and basic articulation. Stands approximately 14cm (slightly bigger and taller than a regular 1/144 Gunpla).

Brocken is a mecha or better known as labor featured in Patlabor TV series when this Germany military used, bad-ass looking labor was smuggled into the port of Tokyo. I got this kit loose and unfortunately the machine gun you see on the box art was missing so my post could only shows the 105mm cannon weapons that attached itself to labor via a vinyl tube. To add more realism to the kit, there are rubber tubing with pre-formed wrinkles to conceal inner limb joints.

i love the design of the external armor in this german labor, seems more modern than the Ingram indeed... also the satin finishing in the paint job is just perfect !!!... great detail in the trunk, balanced with a simpler but rounded and nice structure... the heavy machine gun with magazine is fierce, you almost forget the lack of the other machine gun, LOL... what looks a bit weird is the inner body, kinda reminds me the bark of a tree... overall a great vintage addition for your Patlabor collection !!!... =)

I must agree that Brocken design has a unique round curvy touch but I won't say it look more modernized looking than Ingram. Maybe Ingram has my faith affection all this while. I always stick to the same brand of dull clear spray which I need to travel some distance to brocure but it's worth the effort. Indeed, this vintage kit is a good compliment to my other Patlabor collection. Thank you for the support pal : )

Yeah, it's relatively old... However it has a good size bigger than Revoltech.
