Robot Damashii 00 Qan(T) Quantum Burst Figure

Back to my regular toy post after covering conventions back to back and here we have a review of another toy belonging to Stanley, Gundam, 00 Qan(T) Quantum Burst, packed with gimmicks as a Robot Damashii figure. This toy is a Bandai online shop exclusive so you can expect an outrageous price for anyone outside Japan. Very nice of Stanley to bring the toy directly to my doorstep. I shall be expecting more from his vast Robot Damashii collection.

This toy has a lot of clear parts for an obvious reason of optimizing cosmic effect under UV lightings. 00 Qan(T) is a melee mecha so you can expect its armament to be all blades (7 blades weapons in total). Six of the blades could be mounted to the shield. There are many optional hands to aid varies posing.

The product innovation would surely be the attachable UV lamps at any sockets around the circumference of the nicely designed UV stand. If you don't want use the UV stand you can just use the spare transparent stand. There is also a transparent weapon rack which can be used as an optional effect parts.

In my humble opinion, the main drawback of this figure is that the foot tip-toed so posing is fully dependent on the stands. Maybe that is why two display stands were provided. Other problem would be falling parts when adjusting the figure.

UV effect is definitely the niche of this toy. Lotz of clear parts and UV sensitive parts.

My friend has passed me a lot of his toys for review so there will be more to come. A actually I only set my camera mode to manual, remove the flash and increase the ISO. I used a black cloth is background turned on the UV lamp and switched off the main lighting in my room.

This is out of my budget unless it's GM looking... Ha! Ha! Thanx to Stanley, I get to play this exclusive action figure... The photoshoot is experimental and really enriching for me. Sacrifice some sleeping time though.
