Hot Toys @ STGCC 2012

Looking back a year ago, I felt that Hot Toys, stole the show during STGCC 2011. This year, the exhibition is more well-balance. Still, Hot Toys came like a deliciously served sizzling hot plate with dashing display of 1/6 scale movie replica figures. At STGCC 2012, 'Action City' had wowed HT collectors with exclusive like Captain American (rescue uniform version), Jim Gordom (SWAT Lt version) and Angelica.

In my opinion, the main attraction @ Hot Toys booth is the preview of Batman 'The Dark Knight Rises', 'The Bat'. The actual size is huge-mongus! When I came close to the craft, I could heard soft propelling sound and then realised that the fan actually rotates apart from the lighting mechanism. Damn cool!

I am really taken back by the realism of their figures. But the prices will usually also keep me at bay.

i have not seen this kind of mounting display in the few events available in my hometown... i mean, not this thrilling LOL... but at least, there are some toy/collection figures distributors that bring them to our country, for a reasonable price... however Hot Toys is out of my range so i only watch them and pass... =)

So far, HT is still in the lead with very talented sculptors. I guess this is an example of good thing come with a price. Good for go for a few good ones as getting too many is gotto burned the pocket.

This year HT indeed staged an impression display earning the main attraction of the event again. Fortunately, I like those movies and no poison to get them. I will put my money on mecha. Hee! Hee!

That's already quite a collection you have on HT. The company is really putting effort to the quality to keep themselves in the lead of bussiness.
