In recent years, U-Toys had established a strong foothold @ China Square Central (CSC) and at this year STGCC, U-Toys had occupied a booth for sales and exhibition. At a corner, I found some gems looking vintage robot toys, some chogokin, which I think the staffs of U-Toys had put up with from their private collections. U-Toys had also brought with them Transformers display from their shop to STGCC 2012. I took some pics of the Transformers toy for the benefit of who had not been to CSC.
U-Toys secondary line of toys brought in to Singapore would be 1/6 scale military figures. This should want you are waiting for military otakus! Seems to me that the latest series of 1/6 military figures were soldiers from the Afghanistan. Impressive showcase of accessories, vehicles and diorama.

this time the military equipment won my attention in this post and the vehicles were the winners among them... i wonder if leaving aside my space and budget limitations i would collect these massive reproductions... the figures themselves look very realistic as well, great work on the dioramas !!! =)
I hope I didn't poison you with those military figures and equipment. The good thing about these figures is that you can choose from a variety of accessories and come out with one that's personalized. They should be more affordable than HT.
I like seeing the vintage robots as they were really made nice with real metal parts. They were heavy and lasted a while.
Vintage toys always has its value and many praises for the high quality and strict QC those days. Some may tarnishes a little after time but never failed to bring back memories.
Robot 28..one of my favourites during childhood life..
I didn't watched Robot 28 as I'm exposed to mainly Transformers and Macross when I was a kid.
