I would consider this gift set as a supplement to the Chogokin Metal Material Model Aile Strike Gundam which I reviewed previously. I certainly don't fancy the deactivated colour tone of Strike Gundam in this instant. The reason for getting this set is probably for the accessories that come with it. Attractive accessories consisting of the "Schwert Gewehr" Anti-Ship Sword, "Midas Messer" Beam Boomerang, "Panzer Eisen" Rocket Anchor (extendable graggling claw arm shield), "Agni" 320mm Hyper Impulse Beam Cannon (launcher blaster cannon), 120mm Anti-ship Vulcan Gun (gatling gun shoulder armor). These accessories that made up the Strike Gundam in Sword and Launcher version. The excess material can also be anchored and display on the support fighter, FX-550 Skygrasper, which come with a stand.
This Metal Material Model Strike Gundam GAT-X105 is presented in a typical Gundam Chogokin artwork with naval blue background, leaving a small window in-front for collectors to take a glimpse of the head sculpt and metal exo-skeleton. Weapons and armor parts are arrangement neatly on the plastic blister inserts, so you will need some time and effort to complete the Gundam. Not to worry cos the parts snapped nicely and won't dropped easily even when you moved the joints. Robot height is estimated to be at 6 inches (like 1/100 Master Grade Gundam models).

Y u no like deactivated strike? Knife FTW!!!
Hahaha... on the side note... Is the model heavy? (weird question, I know, just curious here...)
Great to hear from you bro... So, alive and kicking... Yup, the deactivation mode look dumb and depressing to me... With the skeleton made entirely metal, you can bet this baby is heavy. Literally buying metal.... Ha! Ha!
Not a big figure over all :)
metal is nice indeed, and the skygrasper is a nice complement to the strike.
Not bad and for a toy, the size is pretty nice to be on display. This piece was in my display cabinet many years before I sold it off.
Indeed the Skygrasper made an excellent addition to the accessories. Sadly to say the support fighter had turned yellow.
unlike you, i love the deactivated mode of this Strike Gundam, the color scheme is by far more attractive for me than the original (and the grey hardly could turn into yellow =P)... also the accessories department here is pretty generous... what a pity that you got rid of him =(... these chogokins are awesome !!! =)
Maybe the deactivation mode colour scheme have it an extra variety. Sorry to say again that I'm with the white, blue and red.... Hee! Hee! In replacement, I got the NG Aile Strike Gundam for display. Nothing as impressive as these chigokin but just to recycle and scale down collection.
arrgggghhhhhhhh damn you LOL...
make me envy and jealous a lot....
I would love to buy this item but pretty hard to get them now, the e-bay price, I cant afford hahahahaha...
this is a nice once bro....
Actually, mine were in good condition after having them on display for years. Due to some yellowing, I decided to sell them off below cost. I sold them to a fellow Gundam collector as a set of 2 for 80 Sing dollars.
Great series of shots and the attachments make it a great set to own.
Really should of gotten into this series when I had the chance
I like to take pics of mecha but something they can take a long time to get everything set up and posing them can be at times tricky too... Gundam Seed is a great series you will see Bandai doing more kit and probably toys of these series to commemorate its 10 years anniversary. Man! Time flies.
I've found this item on my local forum with special price, but never though that the chogokin one are gorgeous like this >_<
That's way toy are manned to be played with. Just that most collectors preferred MISB. The casualties of it are yellowing I guess.
