Another favorite coffee ☕️ place with foodies…. Chance upon this toy which is the last piece on display during my KL trip. Shop owner is not wrong to say that I must be a Gundam RX-78-2 fan! Didn’t know the origin of the toy until I picture googled it … Apparently it’s a blind box toy line known as Quay Dreaming Series and this Gundam inspired like cat is called Mechwarrior 💙🤍💛❤️

Super Dimension Century Orguss Sofubi

Super Dimension Century Orguss was intended as a successor to Super Dimension Fortress Macross but failed to live up to the heights of its predecessor.  I believed Orguss also made a little cameo on Macross anime. Super Dimension Century Orguss small success was that it inspired an OVA sequel series called Orguss 02. Adapting the same concept of 3 modes variable transformation… Here’s a mecha sofubi by good old Takatoku… It’s non-transformable yet looking great in robot standing (17cm) pose! Where are you going When are you coming home?

War Of Acid Rain Marine Corps Infantry

Most people look for the details and articulation in Acid Rain figurines. I’m more of an odd ball going for simple fun and probably something soft vinyl…. The War Of Acid Rain 7” Marine Corps Infantry with vintage camouflage. Nice accessory of fabric battle scarf as well as a gimmick removable hazmat mask / helmet 🪖 which reveals the zombie soldier. A collaboration of their Acid Rain x GUMS Productions.

Macross Max VF-1J Sofubi

Takatoku had produced in smaller quantities of soft vinyl sofubi of battroid figure such as this TV version, Maximilian Jenius VF-1J. This type of non-transformable approximately 1/100 scale, Macross sofubi is so hard to come by these days and the pricing can be exorbitant if available. Just glad to at least obtain this sought after piece.

蠑螈超獸 Geko Kaiju Sofubi

My very first regular sized 蠑螈超獸 Geko kaiju spotted at the drain after rain 💦🦎 … Yet it’s flaming like Burning Godzilla 🔥… Was searching for it during my last Taipei trip but was to no avail. Glad to be able to find it locally and I like this color way a lot! Also welcome InToy for attending POP Toy Show Singapore annually.

The bloodstains or paint stains on the face certainly give it more thug life character… Always in the swag hyped beast street wear attire!

This is the result of bringing your toy on a nature trail… Great Berserk Exhibition Guts in his berserker armor limited sofubi 🖤 from the beloved manga series turned anime … The manufacturer Redshark could have sweetened the deal by throwing in the sword🗡️… A figurine that was a domestic released during Berserk Exhibition in Japan. Menacing black with only his pair red eyes. You have been warned the branded one...

Mugen Calibur Variable Vehicle VV-54 AR Sofubi

Call it Roadbuster or Mugen Calibur Variable Vehicle VV-54 AR mecha sofubi by good old Takatoku… It’s non-transformable but I kind of had a soft point for anything soft vinyl material these days… About Mugen Calibur - A prototype transformable Jeep/Humvee-like Variable Machine with a soldier-like humanoid mode. The "AR" stands for "Armor Rifle", the signature laser weapon of this model which can also fire muzzle-launched grenades and is stored on the back as a turret when in vehicle mode.
