Gundam F91 - RGM-109 Heavy Gun 1/100 Scale Model Kit (Built + Painted)

Oil paint artwork

As the number suggested, this mass produced MS takes its year of production in Gundam timeline Universal Century 109. This unit is a replacement of the Jegan unit, taking on features of its predecessor such as the grenades on the side skirts and those thrusters on both the legs. Even its chest and shoulders have evidence of design inspired by the Jegan.

Anaheim Electronics had also gradually scaled down the size of MS in general, probably making MS a smaller target or reducing material usage. RGM-109 gets a primary colour in beige with some doses of red. This model kit from year 1991 during the introduction of OVA 'Mobile Suit Gundam F91' with the kit not even categorised as 'High Grade' nevertheless it's amazing how the previous owner managed to build and paint the kit so well. It's neatly painted, panel lined and you can see the shading at the edges.

Mobile Suit Gundam F91 - 1/100 Scale F71 G-Cannon

A kit released 1990 featuring the Gun Cannon affiliated mass production mobile suit that appeared in the OVA movie “Mobile Suit Gundam F91”. G-Cannon was based on the designs of the F70 Cannon Gundam by SNRI. G-Cannon inherits the ability to remove the back-mounted machine cannons and function as a close combat mobile suit, but its smaller in size with overall performance inferior to Cannon Gundam.

I got mine built and painted even though the colour is on the greener side. No complaint as the workmanship is well enough on this really old kit. Very cool arm cannon on both hands and spray guns mounted to the backpack. Well-equipped without the need to carry any handgun. Many boosters  or burners painted chrome on the rear. Plus the hydraulic pistons and cables were painted realistically.

Gundam F91 - 1/100 Scale Guntank R-44 (Built & Painted)

The oil-paint looking artwork on the box is absolutely nostalgia

It is transformable - Robot and tank mode

Screenshot of Guntank R-44 on Gundam F91 OVA

Honestly, the functionalities of Guntank R-44 belongs to the museum by Gundam timeline U.C100, nevertheless the mecha design never age. I got this kit during my Tokyo Otaku Trip years back and I'm proud to built and painted it. Guntank R-44 takes the colour scheme (white, blue and yellow) of the original Gundam and design reminisce of the first Guntank (tank tracks) and Guncannon (shoulder cannons). The head sculpt is  clearly inspired by the GM Type C.

The oil-paint looking artwork on the box is absolutely nostalgia. It's the simple things in older Gundam series that I love (not too fancy). For a Gunpla scaled in 1/100, the finished product is absolutely petite standing at approximately 15cm. Not to mention, a lot of the height is contributed by those long shoulder cannons.

The built kit looks a bit bulky in reality however Guntank R-44 stays true to its transform capability. I'm impressed for a Gunpla that's not even HG (High Grade). I apologised for not transforming it to tank form in fear of scratching the paint. Just feel that Gunpla is not suitable for rough playing and transforming.

SD Gundam BB Senshi Jiang Wei Kyoui Gundam F91 (姜維ガンダムF91)

A warrior surrounded in mysteries. Inspired by Jiang Wei from the Chinese literary classic "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Better known as 'Kyoui Gundam' in the World of Brave Battle Warriors, he was once a follower of Sousou (Cao Cao) Troops but later switch side to Ryobi (Liu Bei) after been convinced by Zhuge Liang, known his potential as a strategist as well as a warrior. Kyoui Gundam is a nicely detailed snap-fit plastic kit! Part of Bandai's "BB Senshi Sangokuden" ("BB Warrior Romance Of The Three Kingdoms") line, this simple kit is molded in color and features polycap joints, detachable armor parts, and heel stamps with his name etched into both heels. Panel line the kit and the Chinese character 姜 on the forehead will be obvious.

Comes with variety of weapons such as the Shield of Flames [Homura no tate] and the Spear of Sharp Edge [Eisennsou]. The spear can be equipped with the shoulder clear parts to become the Wing of Flames [Enyoku]. BB Jiangwei took a double agent role and so is the kit which can switch between fiery red dragon Gundam F91 and Zaku II (red). In Gundam form, he holds a trident and a more low-profile sword when infiltrating SouSou camp in Zaku II form. The face change is very much removing the V-fin and replacing it with a Zaku II mask.
