It’s been a while I last visited St James Bookstore and definitely an extraordinary to find ‘Dirty Pair’ ダーティペア fully painted resin statues. They are gorgeous and definitely pair of a kind. An anime I watched late nights during my secondary school years. Good old 80s sci-fi space agents with action and comedy. Kei is the hot-headed tomboy with red hair and tanned skin who wears a silver uniform and Yuri is of Japanese ethnicity who wears a golden-yellow uniform. Agents who over exposed when supposed to lay low and definitely be trouble whenever they are around. It's a parody of space adventures...
So nostalgic looking back to those carefree days of the non PG era when anime tested water in the boundary adult jokes and sexuality... 'Dirty Pair' is a series of Japanese light novels written by Haruka Takachiho and illustrated by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko in 1980 that was later adapted into anime and manga versions.

Bro, good to see you got what you want.
I don’t know anything about the series, but I can identify the 80’s style in the design of characters, the particular voluptuousness of that era and the naughty situations that were very usual in these productions... Regarding the statues, they capture very well the likeness of these girls, but I think the work on the faces makes them look more stylized and glamorous, which is kind of curious, because the actual characters are more in the very informal and comical side...
