Recently, I started to take liking on designer toys. I guessed having SC Braver figurine opened the door to designer toys for me. Designer toys is a culture that's worth taking a look. They are highly limited since they normally don't received any financial backing of toy manufacturer, toy designers invested a ton of time and saving from design >> prototype >> production >> QC, in order to realise their artistic dreams. It's never easy so that's respectable and why we pay more for designer toys.
Most of the designer toys are made either by resin or vinyl material and I love it. Here is DXIII 6" vinyl figure by CHK DSK x Devil Toys x Bulletpunk. What attracted me the most is the helmet design. The helmet possessed plenty of mecha-ness, just look at those Gundam-like eyes and devilish look inspired Gurren Lagann. The attire of DXIII is very fashionable and narrate a lot of street punk culture. Basically, DXIII is an advanced radical mechanical soldier that's also available in a more realistic 1/6 scale figure under 'Mecha Will Rise' by Devil Toys.

I’m glad to hear that a friend and fellow collector is able to recognize the effort and hard work involved in design in general and designer toys in particular!... Most people think about design as a doodle in a piece of paper and well, that’s only one element in the process of design, not even the first one... But design makes much more than just adding beauty to 2D, 3D and virtual objects: it makes them work better, it makes them more functional, practical and help them to communicate concepts, ideas on top of that!... That’s and incredibly detailed character with lots of crisp tampos, decals and segments hand-painted, besides the red, black, white and gray high-contrast color scheme add to the contestatory, defiant look, there is a particular symbolism the the red / black combination, you know...
I like the back of the figure especially the design of those words.
