Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Tyrannosaurus Zord Legacy Collection

I got this Power Rangers Legacy Tyrannosaurus Zord for its good size and the thought that it would look splendid when display with the Dragonzord. I have yet to unbox my toy Dragonzord but I'm determine to do it after having this figure. It definitely would speed up the process of unboxing my other MMPR toys. This Legacy Collection has shown accurate replica of the iconic Tyrannosaurus Zord.

Considering that this toy is made with the focus of playability, its details, sculpting and decoration are fairly good. The tail balance the toy well and the multiple points of articulation makes the Zord perfect for play or display. Personally, I feel that the figure still have rooms for improvements. It would look better if the grey parts are given a coat of chrome. The back of the toy opens to reveal a miniature Red Ranger figure standing approximately 2". It's more like a gimmick for the kids which I  won't mind. To me it's like a bonus to pose the pilot with the mecha.

This Zord has that vintage feeling of the toys from the 80s, but the execution in terms of the mold and adjustment of the pieces is better, neater. However, as you claimed, a chrome finishing would be much, much better instead of the bare silver plastic, because it looks dull in such a big area of the armor. I guess the price point is critical and it’s said that nowadays chrome finishing is more expensive to produce and offer in basic toys... The Ranger mini-figure and the opening features are a nice bonus actually!...

Yes bro, there is a lot of nostalgia in this toy... Indeed the price factor determines the amount of chrome... Maybe I might consider spraying on my own. Yeah! The mini figure and cockpit is a bonus: )
