I bought this during AFA 2019 at Good Smile booth and waste no time grabbing it the moment I saw it. I'm glad I bought it as I don't see it selling else where at my local toy stores thereafter. I truly enjoyed the anime a lot despite all the censorship criticisms, well haters gotten hate so don't mind them.
Goblin Slayer is an experienced silver-ranked adventurer who seems to bear a grudge against goblin and cares only on hunting goblins in way innovative ways. From the Goblin Slayer anime, Good Smile also released the articulated version in Figma. I'm just more of a bigger fan towards non posable figure aka PVC statue. The statue is bigger in size which stands around 18cm in height and I'm wowed by the details on this figure.
The sculpt nicely portraits the willowing of the fibre, the battle damaged armour and weathering on the worn out gears. Kudos to Good Smile for meticulously recreated the appearance of this badass warrior. It comes with a stand base nevertheless the figure is able to hold up on its hold.

Goblin Slayer is one of the better figure from POP lineup actually since we rarely get budget Male Character figure from Fantasy series.
It is such a shame that the recent COVID pandemic greatly delay Goodsmile to produce more figures for this lineup
Certainly statues somehow have to compensate the lack of articulation, which contributes greatly to realism, with something else that is also very important: a very detailed paint job and sculpt... I can see all the effort put on the simulation of metallic parts of the armor, the weathering, you usually don’t think that shades of gray could add deepness and complexity to the overall appearance, but in this warrior the result is outstanding... The articulated figures by Good Smile / Figma usually feature flatter color schemes... I like this neo-medieval style of the armor, with elements of futuristic armor suits!... Maybe I should take a look at the anime series and get know what it’s about, I think the best way to know if a series is good or a waste of time, is watching it by yourself...

Indeed, I’m surprised with the release of this Goblin Slayer figure and it’s really a good piece which I like a lot. Looks like the hype is over till hopefully there’s another seasons

The anime is interesting with some fresh ideas. The quality of the figure is impressive for the price I paid. It’s also quite unusual Good Smile pick this character and this line of figure seems pretty low on production...
The figure looks good even in standing position.
This figure impressed me a lot... Too awesome...
