This head part, combined with MG GM Quel, reproduce the Gundam TR-1 Hazel gundam of "Advance of Zeta - Under the flag of Titans." It's a Dengeki Hobby Magazine January 2003 Appendix that's released before there is even the Premium Bandai MG version. So this is supplement is kind of a big thing back in those days. This unit is not actually as tough as those protagonist Gundam. I consider it as more like a scarecrow unit putting head onto GM, in a way intimidating the Zeon remnants. There was a time when this was the only way to customize a standard mobile suit to look like some special units featured in Gundam anime series: mini-kits or additional parts offered by hobby magazines in certain issues, well, at least if you don’t have the skills to build your own custom parts, which, as far as I know, is far from an easy task... I don’t know if these mini-kits are still used as promotional nowadays, specially when many magazines are now available only online, but back in the days they were very sought after...
You are right... The golden age of magazine has passed now that people mainly get their source material online.
If the eyes can be more shining type, then the head will look more outstanding!!
