I'm a fan of Alteisen and Stanley sure knows it! I got this toy from Stanley as a birthday gift and as usual, it took me years later to review it. Sorry for the delay cos there are tonnes of backlog toys which I have yet to unbox. As you can see, this is the SD Super Deformed version of Alteisen from 'Super Robot Wars Origin' by Megahouse under the Deformover toyline. Megahouse is renowned for its quality and this SD figure is certainly a great reminiscent of the Kotobukiya Alteisen model kit. Thank you Megahouse for throwing in the SD figure of pilot Kyosuke Nanbu. That's a winner!
Despite in SD form, this toy still looks imposing and Megahouse did not short change on articulations and gimmicks. First of all, the chrome red paint application makes the toy looks premium. The antennas on the head are sharp and pointy so be careful not to break them. Those missile pods on the shoulder do open and the revolver chamber actually turns! Not forgetting that the torso can be taken apart to accommodate mini-me Kyosuke Nanbu. The toy comes with optional hands that's packed in a punch!

WOW!... You’re not the only one who loves the Super Robot Wars Series, actually I was fascinated by the wide variety of mecha designs developed for this videogame and I haven’t even played it so far!... It looks great with metallic finishing, the level of detail is more than proper and the Alteisen is a classic!...
Totally agreed that Alteisen is such a classic and my mecha hall of famer. I haven’t played SRW in recent years but something remains vivid memories.
I like the chrome red as it makes the figure looks great. This figure surprised me as it has some gimmicks to play with the pilot.
>> Desmond - This toy is more than meets the eye. I find it a waste to put the pilot inside so it’s outside on display as well.
