Here's some random Banpresto figures I had scouted during my last Otaku trip @ Japan, three years ago. Each figure came exclusively with the Japanese DVD containing a few episodes of the T.V anime. Too bad those dvd anime did come with English subtitles. They are PVC trading figures standing approximately 12cm. and each figure had plenty of extra parts like optional heads and arms, which you can choose from having heads with or without helmet to changing to hands holding on guns. In fact, each figure even came with a small box (with Mithril insignia) for keeping the accessories. Beside the main protagonists in the anime, I settled for other characters who came in their pilot suits. Pretty awesome to have Sousuke Sagara in his school uniform as well as pilot suit donned.

I didn’t know Banpresto were making trading figures, with certain features you usually see in gashapons, but they did a good job here and the additional accessories are a bonus that trading figures don’t offer... I have very little memories of Full Metal Panic!, since I watched just an OVA a long time ago; what I do remember is that the title was kinda misleading and I was expecting something different, I mean, a different kind of history... But I liked anyway... =D

This is definitely the kind of items manned for domestic market and a cool idea to lure people watching with complimentary figure that come with every DVD. In a way enticed people to collection following and buying subsequent DVD releases where you want to collect them all or buy because it has your favourite character figure. FMP!! is one awesome mecha anime, deserving a top 20 spot for the action and humour.
Bro, you still have figures from Japan trip which you have not blogged about them yet. You must have lots of them :)

Lotz of toys at times put them somewhere and forgotten after a while. They reappeared as surprise find on some occasions ^_^
