Tiger & Bunny 'The Beginning' Movie

Very cool of Golden Village for bringing the first movie of 'Tiger and Bunny' (The Beginning) to big screen in Singapore for the otakus here. Especially when we don't frequently get to watch anime on big screen here. 'The Beginning' kind of like spent half the time showing the starting part of the tv series. Good recap for those who had watched the anime series and an introduction for those who knows nothing of the anime until they started believing in heroes! Bonjour...

Even though the scenes were extracts from the tv series, they had been graphically enhanced for  cinematic effect with additional scenes which featured more on the emotional aspect of Kotetsu.  Individual heroes' gear up vehicles known as the 'Transporter', the Japanese pronunciation it as 'Transporto' were introduced in the movie. One new villain was introduced in the movie as well, not very powerful but surely crafty. This movie made Origami such a inferior psycho... Yessss, make it in time to Blue Rose backdrop to steal some limelight.

Going side track... There was this Japanese lady sitting beside me who was so emoji! She went 'WOW' when Kotetsu appeared and even stomped her feet when the action kicks in. More entertaining watching her reaction... Perhaps most of the girls in Japan response to anime the same way in the theater. Lolz...

and i thought that Bunny (Barnaby) was a girl LOLOLOLOL... lately the androgyny is almost a platitude =/... i realized that the hero armors have a resemblance with the medieval knight armors but reinterpreted, while the villain armors look a bit ridicule in comparison... =O =)

I am still amazed by the amount of business they made on this anime. It wasn't one of my fav's but I can see the glamor of it.

We only get some anime in the movies here in the US. I don't live near a major city, so I usually miss out.

New generation of Japanese and Korean defined handsome guys like Barnaby. More like beautiful man I think. Lolz...

I would see the armour of TnB resemble more of Kamen Rider, maybe the design all traced back back to medieval knights. Hee! Hee!

There's only one new character in the movie so I'm not sure it could create much business opportunity for Bandai. Maybe, Bandai would explore some of the heroes figures in movie version due to some minor changes on their outfit and also the Barnaby suit without sponsor print during his debut appearance.

Anime movie is still not very popular in Singapore and I think it main appeals to fans only. Most of the colleagues didn't know of the title and least know of the anime movie screening. The theater allocated was also a small one and only half filled up. I hope GV would continue their support despite less lucrative.

Is that good to watch??

Is appealing even if you are a first timer watching. At the end of the credits, there's a trailer to the 2nd movie.
