I must start off this post expressing my heartfelt gratitude to Nicholas for the generosity. For the first time in my life I now owned a RC tank and first time on my blog I post about RC model tank. Because of the arrival of this new toy, I started watching a lot of WWII documentaries, especially on WWII tanks.
T-34 medium tank might not be the most fearsome tank during WII or perhaps received as much propaganda as the Germany Tiger and Panzer tanks. However, the shocking numbers of such tank produced had significantly contribution to Red Army, turning the tide of war just before the gate of Moscow.
Although T-34 is not recognized for its craftsmanship, this rugged tank can be produced in shear number. So huge in numbers that T-34 tanks were able to overwhelm the Germany tanks to the extent that they overrun defenses and rammed straight onto enemy tanks to immobilized them. So much so they created shock waves to the enemies and sent them on the run. T-34's 45mm armor plate gave considerable good protection and the sloping design of the frontal armor helps to deflect projectiles.
For medium tank, T-34 is highly mobile and versatile for modification or upgrade. Its wide track prevents the tank from getting stuck at muddy or snow terrains and this added advantages to the T-34 mobility in comparison with other tanks. T-34 is also high reliable meaning less breakdown and easy to maintain. Its main firepower is the remarkable 76mm turret.
Dramatic tank versus tank combat is possible with this compact 1/35 scale RC Tank models by Tamiya. Sound effects coincide with the precisely controlled tank movement. Together with engine sounds and moving turret provide and exciting experience.

Haha that's pretty sweet!
If you are interested in larger scale (1:16) RC tanks, check out Henglong tanks. They have been the best deal in RC tanks for a while without paying a hefty premium for Tamiya 1:16 ones.
I'm afraid I don't have the storage space at house for larger tanks. HengLong sounded like a company from China. So far, I haven't seen this brand selling in my town. I must say the Tamiya RC tanks are in a more premium range and I'm very grateful that my friend gave it to me. I have display this tank with my Zeon toys.
Bro, you may share your new line with Adrian from LPM as he is a huge fan of world war II :)
I won't even dare say this is my new line given that this is so far my only. I must say those WWII teaches me a lot from understanding tactical deployment and how wars pushes technology forward.
great !!! i love tanks as well and military equipment in general, this is an awesome gift !!!... i thought it was just a model kit ’cause is very detailed but as a RC is even better than i expected =O... the simpler, the better... yep this tank is spartan but effective and fearsome... =)
I'm a mecha guy but luv to watch war movies and combat related stuff too!. It's really an awesome gift that's more than meets the eye. RC tank model kit, a combination of workmanship and playable.
Cool! didn't expect the barrel can lift up and down. fun!
It's amazing to see the turret going round plus up and down. The movement of the tank is also very shift and realistic. Fantastic toy and the grown up.
Love it, becareful dude, you might get addictive to these.
Did you build this kit?
Ha! Ha! So far not drawn to tank model kits yet. My friend is the one who built it before he gave me.
What a cool RC to own. I would have a blast with it by chasing my cats around.
Now if I can get it to fire, what fun we could have in the field :D
