Just can't wait to tell you guys that I had watched The Amazing Spider-man 2012 together with my buddies. Not the 3D version, but nevertheless, it's still an amazing live action movie of Spidey! You might consider this movie as a prequel or a whole new beginning of the new face behind the mask, Andrew Garfield's escapade. This movie is said to be more accurate to the comic whereby in the comic, Peter Parker actually built his web shooting device rather than excreting it.
It's inevitable people would compare this 2012 installation with those awesome spider-man movies casted by Tobey Maguire. In my opinion, this latest installation did live up to my expectations. Never felt better to again watch Spider-man on big screen. I personally enjoyed those good humours and romances injected to the movie. Do watch out for Stan Lee's guest appearance.

i’m eager to watch it, i love to try novelties !!!... i think i must have some Spider-Man goodies in my hat of tricks... only time will say when the secret will be revealed... BUAHAHAHAHAHA... LOL
Not sure I am liking this 'Peter Parker' or 'Gwen Stacy'. I guess I am old school Marvel and not sure how to take this version.
Still will probably see it on DVD however XD

I think the lizard man was not so lizard-like. The concept design could have been better in my opinion. 3D gives me daze and it's nice to hear that 3D provided you better movie sensation.

I very much only know Spiderman from Electric Company segment, the cartoon and then the motion picture. I may not full understanding from the point of old Marvel. Hope you will like me when the DVD hit.

It seems like this is the movie to watch before the Dark Knight comes. Enjoy the movie come Saturday : )
I've watched it yesterday and I must say this is the best Spider-man ever, the past trilogy by tobey are sinking, for me Garfield is the real one and just like you said, it is more accurate to the comic.
the 3D version is not too good.
This Spider-man could have won due to cinematic effect as the older spiderman movies were made quite some years back. Those by Tobey to me were equally stunning those days and they have better villains design I must say. I guess 3D works best on Avatar and Avengers.

If you ask me who is better... I would go for the heroine, Kirsten Dunst.... she is one of those white woman that I hope to have sex with someday... the other being Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow...
