Ys: Reah Trading Figure

Search for official series of first Ys trading figures collection is an uphill task and getting to Adol Christine is near impossible. I searched these figures for 3 years and finally got mine. I have now the lovely Reah and Adol. I will first review on Reah and save Adol for later. Good thing most wait. Hee! Hee!

Reah is one of the twin goddesses (Other half is Feena) on the floating island known as the ‘Fallen Paradise’. This figure is the image of Reah in the anime which is unlike in the later version in game, whereby she was given a more holy and angel-like illustration. Atelier Sai is the manufacturer licensed under Falcom. Each figure in blind box cost around ¥500 when first released. Available in different costumes as well as colored or metallic model. The popularity of the game and limited figure produced in quantity explained for the scarcity.

The PVC figure stands approximately 5” and come with a round plastic base and support stand. Well sculpt of Reah in her elegant red robe. The close-up shots shown great retails of the bangle on the wrist and the magical sliver hamonica she’s holding (Like she’s holding a cell phone ready to ask…Lolz). Light blue long straight hair to the waist with some worries in the eyes.

While i prefer Feena out of the Twin Goddess, it's great that you can get the rare Ys Gashapon figure Dennis!

Seriously Ys really needs more merchandise and i am gladly to get new figure for Adol whether it is Nendoroid or Figma.

Now that I have Reah and Adol, I probably just need Feena or perhaps sell away Reah and settle for the hero only.

Thanx pal! Feena is great and if I have her, it would more complete. You really know a lot on Ys and I bet you must a fan of the game. Is the Adol figure bigger than the trading figure. I'm very happy with the current Adol I'm having.

You do love trading figures don't you.... I used to like them but sometimes the finishing quality is disappointing.... bend here and there, poor painting finishing... sigh.... but sometimes they do comes great....

There's truth about trading figures having poor standards at times and worse if it bends. The sword of my Adol also bend. Overall still nice trading figures provide a cheaper alternative.

Tell you the truth... I have not play the game but like watching the anime. I'm into knight fantasy but play mainly turn-based strategy game.

YSL....I used to have their polo shirt... This brand seems to have vanished.... Lolz...

sometimes i think your new mission is to get some rare figures and then kindly sell them to other collectors, isn’t it ??? LOL... for an old figure it still look nice although the sculpt in the more recent trading figures has been improved notoriously... the plus here is the rareness, indeed it would go unnoticed for me if not for your review... =)

It is so hard to catch up on these mini-figures, but here is hoping that you get the full set :)

I would say I'm the type who goes for one figure which I like best from the series without wanting to get the whole lot. In this case, only Adol and getting him is consider mission accomplished. The rest will make good compliment. I guess storage space also play apart.

No worries pal. I'm satisfied with the current status. Very happy to have Adol and thrill to show you all soon.
