I have watched numerous movies on undead apocalypse but on anime, there’s none as good, other than ‘Highschool of the Dead’, thanks to Shoji Sato, the creator.
Like most zombie shows, it all began without reason and warning. This crazy catastrophic broke out banded an unusual group of high schoolers using whatever stuffs they could find in the premises from wooden swords, baseball bats, sticks to staple guns, just to survive. Slashing zombies killing action, stunning horror animation and jaw dropping ecchi scenes from this manga derived anime.
The disappointment would be that this short 24 episodes anime, is just a beginning chapter of the manga. I managed to get my hands on this anime in code 1 DVD by ‘Sentai Filmworks’. Comes in 2 discs, each contain 12 episodes, disc A with cover of Saeko Busujima and disc B with cover of Rei Miyamoto. Audio in English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 (English subtitles). Not too impressive special features include like cleaning opening and closing songs and trailers.

I watched this, quite nice, can give you some nice erection on certain scene... anyway, as you said, too bad that the anime only cover a little bit of part from the beginning of the whole story which means many more to go.... sigh....

Indeed, not suitable for the weak heart during the erection... Lolz... It's seems like this anime had appeal to many. Hopefully there would be a season 2, which unlikely...
Bro, you are the advance party! My friend who read the manga had shown me certain part whereby a cute Police lady almost start a relationship with the military otaku but chapter ending tragically.
I would never of suspected that High Schoolers, Zombies and Sexy babes equaled Major anime success.

Well, there are a handful of people who like zombie shows + male otaku fans who stick to ecchi anime... Lolz This made it successful. Lolz...

Ha! Ha! Japanese men are upfront about their sexual desires and fantasies. Give this anime a try pal! Btw, I watched 'Walking Dead' as well. The first season and totally luv it. Waiting for season 2 to be screened on TV. Heard its from an English comic....

It's a thin red line that this may be more of an ecchi anime. But in comparison with 'Queen's Blade' , this it better with nonsense fan service.
I watched the anime for a while but kinda give up once it got more and more of those shots as the storyline does not seems so interesting.
No doubt this anime has fan services. Most zombies show carries the same plot so it's kind of a preference to the genre.
