HG Zaku II Char's Custom

Guy 'A' has not found his Gunpla momentum after the completion of his HGUC Gundam RX-78-2, so his fellow comrades of Team 06th OCC had lent their helping hands to the squad leader. Basically, I lack the stamina on snap-fit process hence Eric took charge of it. I'm in-charge of subsequent processes like filing, penal lining, adding the decal and finishing it with a topcoat. This is pretty much a simple kit with 3 standard weapons of Zaku. The rifle, bazooka and the iconic heat axe. The kit comes with optional hands and a one-and-only piece of sticker for the mono-eye. Bandai should be more generous with more stickers instead. Good thing I have some spare water-slide decals for this Zaku II. I don't have Char's insignia for the shoulder armour plate so instead I put a Zeon emblem on it. I had the rifle and bazooka sprayed grey and extra effort were put in on the heat axe. I sprayed it purple and used yellow paint marker for the blade. Sieg Zeon!

HAHAHA... this must be the A-Team from Singapore or the SJVL (Singaporean Joint Venture Unlimited)... this Zaku is pretty, pretty simple (maybe too much) but still looks nice !!!... oh and that kick must hurt since it’s right in the noble parts LOL XDDDDD

a zaku a day, keep the gundam away.... LOL... me too lost passion on building GunPaMoKit now... I still love Gundams n the related mecha associated with the series, no doubt about it, but at the moment small die cast cars is where my heart is...

SJVL (Singaporean Joint Venture Unlimited) sounded really cool! Something unique from the word of a designer... Maybe I should censor the pic that Char had kicked below the belt. Lolz...

When the Gundam is here, the Zaku went into hiding. Lolz... Man, I can see your current passion from your recent postings. A toy collector will always be a toy collector no matter what toy you collect. I too switched btw toys at some point of time.

Many thanks for the fantastic work Ensign. With such a slack Squad Leader, my squadron of Gunpla builders have had to cover up for my slack...Haha.

Red colour Zaku is the first one came out of the story or the green one??

The green came out first and the leader class red arrived later to avenge his comrades.

Ah this is a very early HGUC, probably that is why there aren't much decals thats comes with it compared to recent releases. Haha but fitting to post a red zaku for CNY haha! Happy CNY to you also ^^

I think so too, this is more of an old kit and in the original 1st Gundam anime, we don't really see Zaku with design on them. You are right to say that I had chosen this time of the CNY period to post this due to its auspicious colours. Thx for the well wishes and you have good year ahead too!

HGUC still rocks even now! The Seed series got a reissue. I'm happy with my NG Buster, Duel & Strike in 1/100 was well.
