'The day of Unicorn' @ Shaw Bugis Unicorn Gundam Episode 1 Screening Event in Singapore

The day to watch the first episode of Unicorn Gundam 'The day of Unicorn' on big-screen has finally arrived! Even though I have watched the first 20 mins of the anime on internet, it's a totally fresh new experience watching Gundam anime in theater especially this is my first. The theatrics fight scenes and sound system captivated me totally throughout the screening.

Just a quick post before taking my afternoon nap cos I need to recharge a little before starting night shift later. Not forgetting to thank Leon 'Open the Toy' and Shengtai Toys for this great opportunity. It's also a pleasure to again meet up familiar bloggies and bloggies whom I know but finally gotten to meet them in person.

WOW this is a bunch of gorgeous stuff, the big panel posters, the model kits, the movie itself... marvelous... & the meeting with colleagues, hehehe i can imagine all of u talking of a lot of things that for not fans would b some kind of crap or alien language kjakajkajkajkajkajkajkaja, well i hav some colleagues here & we hav casual meetings sometimes but we don’t hav such kind of events, i mean gundam movie premiers or something like that, but we hav fun as well, for sure =DDDD... ur native languaje is mandarin if i’m not wrong & english as second language, so if i would b there, in ur meeting, i’d feel like an alien too, but it would b funny (K K this comment was too long... so i end here.) Chubbybots is not as chubby as I thought. He's a nice looking gentleman!

The side chats with you and Bayu are great! About the laplace box, that's our little secret. Ha! Ha!

>> chrismandesign
With our common interest, I don't think, you will feel alien if we happened to meet. But since my English isn't so good, I'll probably spend half the time figuring out what you say. Ha! Ha!

Takes to great effort to make it for the event. I'm supposed to work day shift that day and had to approached other to swap shift with me. Thereafter, I had to drag myself to work nite shift on the same day. It's worth it! Cheers!

what such cool parting gifts. must of been a treat not only to see it on the "big screen", but also to walk out with such a nice gift bag.

It's delighting that apart from watching the anime, there's also goodie bag. I really like the bag, folder file and mouse pad. Gotten paste the calender at my workplace locker soon. Ha! Ha!

Nice to meet you also Kelvyn (with y or i ?)as well, man. I think it's the discussion part that makes it interesting, you can watch the movie at your own comfort buy getting the disc or whatever, but the ambiance with fellow blogger that makes it different, ey? Oh and btw...

@chrismandesign
Actually my main language is English, so if you happen to be here, I can chat with you as well. And somehow I'm accustomed to hear foreign English.

Bro, you added a lot more fun to the meet-up and I'm really impressed with the knowledge you have for Gundam. Like I said, watching the anime plus talking to you makes it much interesting.

>> G.G
Definitely bro! In episode one, Stark Jegan put up a tremendous fight but the first appearance of ReZel ain't so impressive. Now, I'm in a dilemma if I should buy Metal Composite Unicorn Gundam. Hee! Hee!

to Kaze Tora:

hehehe... my 1st language is spanish & my 2nd english... that’s why i said that our hypothetic encounter would b just funny, trying to understand each other what we really mean... LOL =PPPPPPPP but some things, like hobbies, could brake language barriers...

Buy it!!! LOL

I am secretly building a HG 1/144 Stark Jegan. Hopefully I can post it before I leave for vacation. But final project for an evening class has me tied up...

Dennis aka Katsuden said...

Ha! Ha! But the price of Metal Composite Unicorn Gundam is so damn steep. Stark Jegan is awesome and I'm wait for the Damashii version to come. Can't wait to pose it with my MSIA Jegan.
