This spaceship, functions as a means of transportation for Frieza and his army as well as a base of operations, has appeared in countless Dragon Ball Z episodes and practically game over any species whenever Frieza's / Freeza's spaceship landed on their planet. The theory remains relevent before the existence of Super Saiyan. The fact that the ship is a static non-poseable and the legs do not move, some may find it collectable figure play set lame and ugly from the world renowned anime property of Dragon Ball Z. Yet it's cute and make excellent diorama with other WCF (World Collectibles Figures) Mega World figures or other DBZ gashapon figure. The hole on top of the spaceship is also a holder for WCF Mega World figures' stand base.
This Banpresto's 6" play set is more of a SD Super Deformed form of Frieza's spaceship in comparison to the previous "Frieza's Force" version. Weighs pretty light and I assumed its empty inside. I find my set a bit plain so added some touch ups like panel lines and shadings to it. The play set does come with additional figure so I bought a Frieza gashapon figure to enhance a stronger connection to the spaceship. Of course, you can get WCF Frieza figure which is the exact toy line this set.

I didn’t know Banpresto were making this kind of collectibles, I thought they only produced vynil figures, but this spaceship looks more like something made in plastic resin, like a model kit and actually it has a lot of detail, it was very well made and I don’t mind the SD style... Your customization is quite good pal, the weathering enhances realism, I thought it was painted that way from factory, very nice touch indeed !!!... That being said, Frieza is a hateful character =P... =D

Banpresto won’t miss the chance to explore beyond the boundaries of just figures and many a times surpassed the origins so this one cool play set though it may not served much purpose ^_^ and take up space hehe.. I like it a lot as a prop and a nice display complimenting other DBZ figurines. Glad u like the tarnishes added to the toy and yeah it certainly added some realisms to it.
No wonder the paint job on the spaceship looks pretty good..You touch up already..
