Langrisser II - 1/6 Sherry Variant Painted Resin Figure

Triumphant for finally getting my hands on a Langrisser figure. Trophy to my favourite knight fantasy, turn-based strategy game in the 90s, by NCD. So niche that there were only resin figure been released. I found this at 'Saint James Bookshop' and was rejoiced when the shop owner agreed to sell me this pre-painted 1/6 scale figure of Sherry the Dragon Knight. The best part about resin figure, if you have the skill, the figure can be painted in any colours to your liking. Mine is not to the colour of how Sherry appeared in the game so it's more like variant colour.

Still, I think Sherry remains gorgeous in this grey lavish armour and I'm sure it's one of the kind. The catch is definitely those big cheery eyes of Sherry, those oversized shoulder armour, wolverine-like-claw weapons and long sexy legs. Was she wearing thongs?! Lol Sherry is one of the heroines, a playable character in the game which can switch from dragon knight (flying unit) to princess. Based on the storyline she is the descendant of warrior of light and princess of Kalxath, the most powerful in an alliance of nations trying to oppose the evil Empire. She bears the image of a tomboy, excellent fighter, wild, impulsive, and energetic..

This is an old arcade game !!!... It has the kind of graphics you would expect from, let’s say, Samurai Shodown, the first versions and I must say that games like these (i.e. Langrisser and the like), with hints of strategy, never had acceptation among the arcade gamers here, only those of close combat, one to one, so they never were available in my country...

This precious statue, seems to be made in cold cast porcelain and it has the level of detail and fine sculpt you would expect from such material... It does look like something extremely rare (at least, I never heard about the game) and her charm is undeniable, my sincere congrats, pal !!!... =D

Yeah! Real classic game traced back to SEGA Genesis. The first episode was translated to 'Warsong' and I loved the way the army collided, sword aura cutting through enemies and sending them flying.. Lolz. As I had mentioned, this statue is ultra rare now. For an old resin, the standard is pretty high and still look good.

Bro, you must referring to Hyaku Shiki in my previous post. Yup, I can't agree more that it's the first golden Gundam.
