Gundam Build Fighter Try - Super Fumina Hoshino The GM Girl

Gunpla is Freedom and not sexist! It's one thing we learned from 'Gundam Build Fighter' and the series didn't slow down with it second installment 'Gundam Build Fighter Try'. Unlike the typical storyline, Sunrise adopted the concept of duel fight, similar to anime such as Pokemon, Digimon and Bayblade. In order to woo more female fans, Sunrise had inject cuteness to GBFT with more exploration of the adorable Bearguy and female heroine who loves Gunpla. Fumina Hoshino is just the perfect role model as a polite and caring high school girl who found passion in Gunpla fight.

More importantly, she uses Powered GM in her first Gunpla fight in the anime aka Powered GM Cardigan. We now have a GM female Gunpla fighter... How sweet ^_^ The biggest surprise from the anime was that it ended of with Minato Sakai custom built, Gundam Girl model kit 'Super Fumina' with combination of Fumino Hoshino sculpt with RGM-237C Powered GM Cardigan parts! The best part was that even the waist was 10% smaller. Ha! Ha! Super Fumina' was truly an expression of Sakai's affection for Fumina through Gundam!

A 1/144 custom built 'Super Fumina' was really exhibited during Shizuoka Hobby Show 2015 for real!!! Not sure if Bandai would release it in future as GGP Gundam Girls Project Figure? Meanwhile, I'm on WIP 1/144 Powered GM Cardigan, thanks to Kenny's last year birthday gift and pre-ordered Gundam Girls Generation (Gundam Build Fighters) Hoshino Fumina MegaHouse pre-painted figure.

Is she a half human and half robot?

She's a Gunpla fighter who first participated the tournament with a GM kit. Her admirer had made a custom kit of her with her GM parts.

apparently, this Bandai move, aimed at involve gals in the Gunpla fever, is luring an army of male Gunpla builders, who want some curves and sensuality in their kits !!!... i would say, it’s a curious sample of collateral effect, LOL !!!... =)
