This news has been spreading like wild fire within the Gundam Universe and a sure thrill for local and fans from the region. Everything is bigger and better while Singaporean celebrate SG50! It's kind of like a mixed feeling while we are still mourning for the passing of our founding father of modern Singapore, Mr Lee Kwan Yew. Yet we are embracing the nation's successes in attracting major events like 'Chara Expo', 'Sea Games', 'WWE Live' and grand 'Chingay' celebration, that happened in March had reached the heartlands with extensive fireworks. WWE LIVE™ will return to the Singapore Indoor Stadium at Singapore Sports Hub on 2 July 2015!
The groundbreaking news to Gundam fans would certainly be 'Gundam Docks at Singapore' from 4th to 28th June 2015 @ Ngee Ann City, Orchard Rd. Do check out the official website http://gundamdocks.sg
We had previously Gundam fiesta and Gunpla Expo however the Gundam meteor that's coming is of a higher magnitude! We are looking at over 200 models of the phenomenal Gundam, held at Takashimaya Square, Basement 2 and Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. As you can see for the event promotional pic, anyone walking and driving passed Singapore's renowned shopping belt during this June holiday would be caught by the sight of 6 metres tall iconic RX-78-2 Gundam and Char's Zaku II at the Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. I had been to Diver City to witness the 1/1 scale so I don't think I would shaken by these. Still I'm filled with anticipation for the coming of Gundam Docks. Gundam merchandises is a promised and exclusive editions as well. Some insights say one of the exclusive would be 1/144 SG50 RX-78-2 Gundam. It's unconfirmed so keep your fingers crossed.
