Just to side track a little, Char Aznable IMHO is like an imaginary character of WWI Ace pilot Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen aka 'Red Baron'. Richthofen had flown low and had chosen a distinctive red aircraft to draw his enemies to him so as to lessen the burden of his comrades. This act of nobility could be a propaganda stance for morale boosting I guess. Richthofen plane was also customized with three-winged for better strength and maneuverability. Officially credited with 80 air combat victories and his red plane earn him the title 'Red Baron'.
I would also like to take this opportunity to promoting the coming Mono-Eyed Build 2015 gathering that's going to happen on 21st March from 12pm to 2pm @ Omocha Mura Toy Village. It's a non competitive event for the purpose of Gunpla gathering with participants standing to win lucky draw prizes.

another great idea by Banpresto, with an utilitarian bonus, even the ink is red and features a neat construction... a simple yet good looking accessory for your desk and like other collectibles of this kind, with room for any given personal touch, if you have some paint and decals... you hardly see stuff like this in the specialized stores here, though... =/

Yeah, quite out of the box merchandise by Banpresto. Many Char's fan would like the idea too! The scale makes touch-up easier with spray and decals. Though it may not be really practical however having it as a display is good tribute to the fictional legendary character.

Yeah! The effect is quite a deal for getting the item. The item was released some time back however I post it in line with the recent Gundam Origin screening and coming mono-eyed event.
