Full Metal Panic! Kaname Chidori Trading Figure

A debate on going to whether Kaname Chidori or Teletha Testarossa, is prettier, perhaps more suited to Sousuke in the anime. The answer is affirmatively Kaname Chidori for me and otherwise for Guy ‘A’. Well, each man has their own liking and I don’t want to impose. Ha! Ha!

Anyway, before I managed to save enough penny for a 1/8 figure of Kaname, I shall settle with this budget, Full Metal Panic! Kaname Chidori Trading Figure made with PVC and ABS. Comes in a blind box released for Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu series. There are a total of 6 characters in this volume and one them, a secret character (I placed my bet on Tessa in her Mithril uniform). The figure stands approximately 3” with accessories like a stand with Kaname’s name in Japanese characters and support spine since the figure isn’t able to stand on its own.

We have Kaname Chidori in her school uniform for this trading figure holding onto her deadliest paper fan that never failed to hit Sousuke in those epic scenes. The cuteness of Kaname are somehow attributed to the enlarged ribbons on the hair and uniform. Not to mention Kaname’s long blue hair and her pinky pair of sport shoes. It would be better that more attention is given to the details as those big round eyes don’t seem to sparkle. Guess I should ask for more with a figure priced only @ ¥525.

HAHAHA... the series seems to be hilarious (i love that kind of series) and the character herself combines innocence with a bit of sensuality... this trading figure must be old since the detail and paint job is in the basic level but at least has a decent resemblance which makes it nice...

P.S. right now i’m gonna make a stupid question... there is any difference between Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Alchemist??? LOL

Full Metal Panic! is basically a mecha genre anime. There is so funny scenes but if you are solely going for hilarious and total ridiculousness. Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu is just the right dose. Full Metal Panic! Is totally unrelated to Full Metal Alechemist! Alchemist is more a fantasy adventure of two brothers whose body parts were consumed by dark magic.

LOL - need to keep my wife away from this post as she is a big fan of this series.

PANTSU!!!!

Don't think your wife is a fan of pantsu... Ha! Ha! Seriously, Fumoffu is so different to Full Metal Panic! main setting and packed with excellent comic relief.

Haha you right bro, Tessa is definitely my choice over Chidori...Lol. Nontheless its a good buy for 500+yen and I am glad you have come to realise the importance of a not-to-be-excluded "facing the storm" shot in such posts. Well done!

How can forget our pal here prefer the girl-next-door Tessa. Actually, I forgotten to factor in the Japan shipping when I bought this so I better stay in my self denial of 500 yen +++. Lolz. I like the term "Facing the storm" from the previous posting on Mimei figure. Should use this phase for my future notorious pantsu shots. Lolz... This is for you peeps out there!

Bro, you really know a lot of Japanese Anime series..I am totally outdated :)

The volume of anime these days are like endless horizon and an entire huge universe. The anime I watched are already outdated and probably the tip of the iceberg. Unlike those days we only watched a few cartoons or anime that was aired on tv. The stone age without Internet which we could only stick faithfully to anime time slot on mainstream TV station....

I love her sneakers detail. LOL fumofu is the funny series.

Yup! I find it particularly cute so took pics of it. Indeed, Fumoffu... is totally funny to the max. A complete opposite to the main 'Full Metal Panic'.

FMP - one of the best anime from those days... I love it!!!! too bad they don't make any Figma for the female character... sigh...

Dennis aka Katsuden said...

Yup! FMP on anime stopped at second raid and suggested that the storyline would continue but there seems no news of a season three till today! This anime certainty deserve more attention just like having the female characters in Figma! I second your suggestion.

Bonta-kun is super cute with the Zaku commander unicorn. Ha! Ha! Did you made the paper yourself for Chidori? I have Arbalest too! Both action figure and kits. Should post them in the near future...
