Gasaphon SD Ryofu Tallgeese

There are little things in life that excited us and this is one that charm me the moment I walked passed the capsule machines corner a fine day. A capsule for two dollars and this big kid (me) had ten one-a-dollar coins all ready to test a game of luck. Lucky enough, I managed to get this petite Sangokuden SD Red Hare in just two tries. I already had Sangokuden SD Ryofu Tallgeese some time back on EBay so now I have the perfect combination. The SD Red Hare comes with Lu Bu Ryofu's weapon and armour which will fit nicely on any Sangokuden SD GM which I got from the following tries.

Clear Fast Pack Covers ~ 1/48 Macross Valkyrie

With perseverance you will success and this applies to toy collection as well. It's amazing to see how rapid Aaron expands his collection in such a short time. Here's another hard to get item from Yamato 1/48 valkyrie toyline. Yes, I'm referring to this limited edition clear parts that was only available via mail order through Dengeki Hobby Magazine a few years back. With this clear parts, Yamato was able to showcase their excellent quality and details even on the inner frame. I have used some of the pics which I had taken before I sold away mine a long time ago whereas most of the pics were contributed by Aaron.

Uniqlo 30th Anniversary Gundam T-shirt

I always believe that what you wear are an expression of your style and personality. That's why I will usually go for apparels related to anime or movies I'm interested. This time round, I got a good deal on EBay Singapore for this pair of Gundam arch enemies T-shirts by Uniqlo. The prints of these T-shirts have got all the MS and transportation mode both Amuro and Char had ever taken.

Product: First broadcast on television in 1979, this popular animation series celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2009. To commemorate this milestone an enormous Gundam figure, soaring 18m in height, has appeared in height, has appeared in the Odaiba district of Tokyo, attracting attention from all quarters. 2010 will mark the 30 anniversary of the ubiquitous Gundam plastic models and toys. UT throws the spotlight on the two characters of Amuro Ray and Char Aznable as they develop the Mobile Suit Gundam UT series.

Jason’s Transformers Collection Part 3

Back to Jason's collection continuing from his Transformers. The focus in this post will be mainly on the big toys like Unicorn, Primus, Scorponok, Fortress Maximus and Brave Maximus. Beside these formidable Transformers, there are also bots from Head Masters and Power Masters series. These two Transformers series are those I like a lot beside G1. I used to have a couple of Pretenders TF and they are now in the safe hands of Jason. Glad they are with someone who appreciate Transformers more than I do, especially with a good friend.

Toy Day Out 20th Jan 2011

20th January 2011 (Thursday) is more than just a day I collected my precious 1/3000 SDF-1. It's also a day I enjoyed thoroughly with great companionship from Leon 'Open The Toy'. We met up early that morning to start off with healthy activities by playing basketball. Thereafter, I visited Leon's house for the first to see his awesomeness toy collection. No photography yet cos modest Leon thinks his display ain't decent enough to showcase at this point of time. At Leon's place, he had shared with me his knowledge on blogging and I'm also grateful for the gifts from him. Leon is really passionate about toys & blogging that he actually scheduled and drawn sketches whenever any new ideas struck him.

We had the whole day dedicated to toys so it's toy shopping after lunch. We went to Sunshine Plaza where I bought HG Guncannon (Mass Production type), Kotobukiya customed rifle and fine sand paper. We had also spent some time at OG shopping centre before stopping over Falcon's Hangar for my ultimate toy. Friendly staffs of FH had given me advise to first read through the review on 'Macross World' to avoid damaging the small fragile parts and printing errors on the instruction manual.

1/48 Low Visibility VF-1A with Stealth Strike Parts

I'm gotten salute Aaron for getting this fantastic 1/48 Low Visibility VF-1A with Stealth Strike Parts, which most Macross fans are dying to have. Not that easy to get cos it's limited edition and the pricing is on the higher side. What more admirable was that Aaron actually took it out from the box and display it, which again most collectors won't even dare to do so. What is more satisfying than playing and posing the toy after you own it! The awesome 'stealth strike parts' came separate and it's amazing that they go so well with the low vis valkyrie. Many thanx to Aaron for the pics and I love the classy appearance of this valkyrie. I have received more pics on Aaron's latest import so you can be certain that Aaron's deculturing process will continue....

Singapore Gundam World Cup 2010 Prize Presentation - Final Part

Folks, here's the conclusive post to a memorable Singapore Gundam World Cup 2010 Prize Presentation. In this post, I would like to take you through the Gunpla that's gotten be released very soon in 2011. You maybe have seen these Gunpla while surfing the net but I can tell you it's a different feeling to see the real snap-fit and prototype presented right before my eyes. Since I'm a fan of U.C timeline (or should I say, a GM fanatic), I have set my target on HG GM Custom. It will be an excellent compliment adding to my MG GM Custom that's already on display in my cabinet. Another intriguing view would be the MG Deathscythe and Shenlong from Endless Waltz. Impressive detail and definitely sleeker than the non-grade version that were released years back. I hope to see MG Heavyarm Gundam release soon in the near future.

PS: Special thanx to Sheng Tai Toys, Chern Liang and Leon (Open The Toy) for this great opportunity to cover the event. I'm very grateful! Cheers!
