Bleach Season One - The Substitute

Yah, I know I’m a late-comer or slow coach to ‘Bleach’ but slow a better than never. Well, it all started because of Mr K’s hard sell tactics, being pushy and insisted that I would missed out a lot not watching this anime and he even passed his ‘Bleach’ season one DVD boxset to me by force. Hee! Hee! I exaggerated it!

As a matter of fact, I’m thankful to Mr K that introducing ‘Bleach’ to me. I have always denied ‘Bleach’ cos I didn’t want to follow the trend of popular animes like everyone else but it seems that the anime is really interesting, at least for a start. It explains why it’s so popular.

I won’t go into details as most I presumed, already know all these Soul Reaper blah blah blah! Ichigo the cool punk substitute soul reaper, who cares but carries an attitude. Oh, I started blahing again….

Well, I enjoy the scenes whenever Rukia takes out her childish drawings every time she explains about the spiritual world of Hollow. Kon is funny behaving like an idiotic and a pain in the butt. As of now, I like Orihime Inoue’s innocent and devilish valley of pillows. Hee! Hee! If you get what I mean? Hmmm, why am talking like this!

1/144 Chara-Works Minmay Guard

I got extremely tempted after seeing all the customized 1/144 valkyries Ant Sized Man had blogged about. So one fine day I happened to shop at Marine Square and saw a VF-1S Strike version of Minmay Guard. I had approach the staff wanting to buy however he had declined cos it was solely for display.

Filled with disappointment, I left but the first thing I do when I got home was to search the Internet for 1/144 Chara-Works Macross Valkyrie Collection Vol. 2 ~ VF-1S Strike Valkyrie (Minmay) Minmei's Guard Movie Version Miniature Model. So very lucky I managed to get it from MicroNation online Shop.

This 1/144 valkyrie to me is like an in between of model kit and toy. The material feels like kit which you need simple assembly. It comes with optional parts like, missiles, firepods, stand and landing gears. The decal ain't pre-painted but instead you need to self apply the water slide decal.

Macross Chronicle 42

Plenty of Zentradi stuff for this issue with a little touch of DX chogokin Macross Quarter which I'm proud having. To balance up, this issue added some feminine touch with invitation of Mylene Flare Jenius and Ranka Lee. And finally a display of U.N Spacy firepower with drawing of Monster and VF-1J valkyrie.

Lu Bu Ryofu Tallgeese (TV Version)

Here's a re-blog of my very first BB Sangokuden Gundam dated Dec 2008. Just want to do a recap before moving on to its latest version 'Genbusou Ryofu Tallgeese'. The other reason is that pics taken in my previous post ain't very well taken and hoping this post would make up the flaws. I could still recall spending the morning right after my night shift building the painting this adorable BB Gundam. After all, it's very satisfying displaying the final product in the living room with all my other Lu Bu figurines.

Ryofu is one of the main characters in the world of Sangokuden! It is also a good buy for this handsome toy with volumous body that is made larger than Ryubi's (Liu Bei). The pheasant-tailed headdress comb comes metallic purple. Eyes covered with clear green visor. 'Sekitoba' the red-hare which can be transformed into a motorcycle for Ryofu to ride on. Giant oversized weapon 'Hajingeki' & last but not least 'Gyokuji', the proof of the emperor are included.

Here's the latest ROTK anime and this time it's one solid anime between Takaka Tomy first anime joint venture with China's CCTV. This co-production both animators from both countries has guaranteed the anime success that won't disappoint you. In fact, the anime had soared remarkable TV ratings in China and Taiwan has recently gotten the rights to air it on national T.V.

Not only stunning anime battle scenes and detail characters design, this is also the ROTK anime that so far follows closely to the novel right from the start until the fall of Shu Han. It's quite saddening that in this 52 episodes anime many of the heroes met their tragic death and even genius tactician like Zhuge Liang wasn't able to accomplish what Liu Bei entrusted him. There goes to say that human can do so much and the rest is up to fate.
