This is a sequel to NES Captain Tsubasa and this time on Playstation, Captain Tsubasa is going to lead Japan to the road to World Cup campaign. Unlike Winning Eleven, gameplay the player having the ball will appear as a soccer ball icon on the field. Will he is been cornered by opponent , a screen will appear and players will have options to execute special skills depending on their abilities.
Though I have never read Captain Tsubasa comic or watched the anime, the fan-based game proofed to be unique and interesting. The game would be better if the game duration is longer. The NES version is based on Captain Tsubasa's college time and had given me great memories of the game.
