I like this VCD print. It has got Lu Bu printed on it.

I understand this a blog on Robot but I hope to share with my blog readers some of my other collections such as games (mainly Playstation) and DVD. I would also like to influence you to 'Romance Of The Three Kingdoms' as well. The Japanese call it 'Sangokushi' and in Mandarin 'San Guo Zhi ~三国志'.

Most Singaporean may have seen this three parts animation movies on 'San Guo Zhi' directed by Masahara Okuwaki, many years back when it was shown on TCS Channel 8 during the Lunar New Year period. The movies had great impact on me which I eventually bought the VCD boxsets for around S$80/-. Those were the days when you don't find DVD. Nevertheless, The VCD boxset provided me with a lot of entertainment.

The drawing of 'San Guo Zhi' anime by Masahara Okuwaki is more realistic and violence as compared to Yokoyama Mitsuteru Sangokushi (横山光輝 三国志) whereas Yokoyama Mitsuteru gave the mainly characters a bit more charismatic touch.

The DVD version of 'San Guo Zhi' anime by Masahara Okuwaki was found on shelves of leading DVD shops a few months back and I had quickly bought a set to keep. The price was set reasonably at twenty odd Singapore dollars. And again I was lucky cos it's not easy to find the original DVD anymore.

Hey, I recently started looking for this, and your blog is the only relevant source I could find on it. I'm in the USA and I randomly had one episode of this show recorded on VCD and for years now I have been trying to get my hands on a copy of the full thing. Do you think it would be possible for you to help me acquire a copy in mandarin if possible?

I believed you are sourcing for the DVD version in Mandarin dialogue. There should be still stores still selling this in my area. Maybe you could drop me a mail at transformer_31@yahoo.com.sg for more details.
