MSIA Gundam RX-178 MK-II Titans version

Similar to the AEUG version, MSIA of RX-178 Gundam MK-II Titans version blue comes with the same accessories like bazooka, bazooka clip, beam rifle, headset antenna, beam saber, shield and interchangeable hands. Bandai had released the toy with different number paint on the left shoulder. Just like the anime, there were supposed to be three units but I only have unit 02 still MISB and unit 03 which has come loose and hence I used it to for phototaking. The unique features of this toy would be the bazooka being able to be hung at the lower spine area and the snap-on shield that changes in length. Personally, I would prefer the Titans colour scheme to AEUG version as dark blue give a stealth effect in deep space and it certainly look badass.

Illustration Book on Advance of Z

Fans of Gundam is everywhere and I had recently found out that a superior at my new workplace likes Gundam. It was by chance I bumped into him outside Kinokuniya with JapanHobby magazine in his hands. Comrades! Great interaction between the both of us on topics revolving Gundam and following that, we had exchange magazines. Here are some of the extracts from those magazines on 'Advance of Titans', which Alfred had borrowed me.

Very little do I know of 'Advance of Z' as it seems like a manga side-story during UC timeline, that is right after 'Stardust Memory' 0083. The storyboard kind of circled around a group of Titans test pilots. Titans have earned its notorious reputation as a rogue taskforce for double crossing, disrespectful and murderous schemes, however they do have good taste researching on these stealth-like prototypes mecha.

MSIA Gundam TR-1 Hazel

Front view of the box

Back view of the box

A mint in Koyak (badly battered) box MSIA Gundam TR-1 Hazel which I bought from Bugis OG last month. A few of these pieces were on offer and this is the one with best condition I could find then. A nice addition to my collection of Advance Z Gundam MISB since I got the other verison 'Gundam TR-1 Custom' months back at the Toys & Comic Convention 2008.

Wristband and events guide book of 2008 Toy & Comic Convention

In summary, 2008 Toy and Comic Convention was well organized, strongly supported by the main players of toy industrial and overwhelming fans on gaming, comic fanatic and collectibles collectors.

Toys were also sold at discounted rate and as a bonus I have gotten myself a MSIA Gundam TR-1 (Hazel Custom). This Gundam is only featured on Hobby Japan magazine on Advance of Zeta. I fancy the shield of this Gundam especially because it share the same type of shield with RGM Custom. The story evolves of Titan test pilots and their mission to combat the Zeon remnants.

Last but no least, I also managed to obtain the wristband and events guide book of 2008 Toy and Comic Convention. In conclusion, I have enjoyed myself at 2008 Toy and Comic Convention. Shiok!
