Transformers get thumbs up from Katsuden for re-looking 'Head Master' and 'Power Master' franchise. This saga is well deserved and a celebration to a more Japanese style design. Transformers Legends LG39 Brainstorm is an Autobot that can transform from robot to space fighter jet. The Headmaster Cana aka Arcana (English version) basically form the head of Brainstorm when in head mode, or can pilot the vehicles when in robot mode.
When the head attached to the body the tech specs would be revealed and it works really well.
Whether Brainstorm in the middle of a battle or consciously working on another of his projects, new ideas are the background noise of his mind, sometimes to such an extent that his brain will overheat. The Legends line comes packed in boxes that are made pretty much as a homage to old G1 boxes by having the black and red background with grids style.
Takara is known for doing a better job where you can see more paint red and chrome marking added. The twin laser barrels from Brainstorm's jet mode actually detach and thus turn into twin blasters for Brainstorm's use in robot mode. Great design, well articulated and made sturdy toy that's back to the basic. Brainstorm looks like how it's supposed to be in the Japanese comic included.

the jet mode remind me of cowboy bebop. TakaraTomy version always look better in packaging and quality.
