1/6 Hikaru Ichijo Macross TV Version Pilot Suit

Let us bring back some nostalgia with 1/6 Hikaru Ichijo Macross TV Series Pilot Suit, P.V.C Hi-Quality figure. There's some properties of soft vinyl as well. The figure comes attached to a large blister card and comes with a framed art card, a stand (base, metal bar, and bendable waist support) nontheless, this 30cm figure of the iconic 超時空要塞 Macross Space Dimensional Fortress' male protagonist is well balanced without the aid of support. ARII initially started the figure as a garage kit whereby assembly and painting was required.

In June 1988, ARII subsequently introduced the fully painted and assembled version of Ichijo as seen in the Macross (a.k.a. Robotech) TV series portrayed in his pilot suit. A nice pose not only Hikaru was in a ready stunt with his pistol, he also wearing that old-school pilot helmet of the first Macross T.V series. The facial expression of the figure might not be that anime correct nonetheless this is one rare figure that up for grab.

pretty nostalgic and pretty big figure !!!... it has all the taste of the 80s, but the quality, for the standards at that time, is remarkable !!!... if we judge it by today parameters, it would look dull, but is a PVC statue made more than 25 years ago... vintage, but very neat, a rare piece, i think so !!!... =)

Yeah! As nostalgic as it is, Macross says it all. Agreed that it kind of look dull if to be gauged by today's standard. Looking back, it was once a kickass item. Lol ... Nonetheless, it's part of my display joining the other Macross old folks..

I think the figure was released sometime in 1997 to 1998 and fetched between 25 - 30 USD, I guess.
