Feel so blessed to have Daiso store near my store for all the Japanese theme goods from household items to munchies all @ S$2. Most importantly, my favourite Tohato Caramel Corn since schooling days is now available @ Daiso, well-stock-up all year round. In fact my wifee luv it as much as I do cos those crunchy corn puffs with caramel seasoning proved irresistible and the peanuts complimented well to this original flavour. It's our best snack in between tutorials and during group studies.

It’s not just enough to watch anime — you have to eat it too! Neon Genesis Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン) themed Tohato Caramel Corn from Japanese to Singapore. There will be some special editions of new flavours introduced and one which I had spotted is this EVA packaging (Evangelion @ School). Front cover of the snack is a Petit Rei Ayanami in her school uniform and the sides and bottom are other EVA characters and mecha printed in super deformed cuteness. However, they ain't really value for money as it's in a smaller pack and doesn't come with any toy inside : (

Such a quiet set of chibi characters on this packaging. Not only do I want the sweet snack, but also save the package (hoarderish).

this kind of snacks (anime-themed) is something you hardly see here, mainly because of the stringent policies with imported food products... i remember the "Snacky" snacks were (and are) popular during my infancy, but they never featured comic or anime related characters on their packaging design =/////... the sweet snacks are not my weakness, but i like them anyway, what i really like are the salty spicy snacks, specially platano or potato fries !!!... =)

I bought it for the fun and so adorable it is I didn't want to open, by the time I know, the snack had expired. Finally took pics for it for memory.

Hey, Mr Potato... Actually I do luv potato especially the Calbee Jagabee and of course Mac Donald fries, never fail to satisfy my taste buds. Some these anime and comic theme ain't that good but just there to entice us. This Caramel Corn Snack is one of the top recommended.

Sadly, the snack didn't come with toy. That Rei gashapon is my personal collection. They should adopt the old-school Kaka corn snack. LOL

I like the green packaging caramel corn. But can only find the red packaging chicken flavour nowadays.
