HGUC RGM-79 Powered GM

Here's another awesome GM kit from one of my all time favourite Gundam anime, UC 0083 'Stardust Memory'. I can't explain why I bought this 1/144 Gunpla even after having custom built its 1/100 scale. Naturally, it's hard for me to resist any GM kits. Besides, I'm able to use off my remaining water-slide decals from my custom /100 Powered GM.

One of the reasons definitely is the unique design of Powered GM. It's a modification of GM Type-C for the purpose of data collection. Equipped with a overkill backpack for maximum thrust and extra paddings on the kneel for shock absorbance, gave a boost to the simple design of GM. The orange colour scheme also added a more sunny sensation to this test type mecha. It's a pity the MS didn't last very long in the series.

A very nice kit and great addition to the line of 1/144 GM kit. Even released in 2006. This kit easily matched up to recent release with those shoulders that goes forward and backwards for better articulation. The elbow joint also has wide range of movement. The front skirts came in two (not join up), so it won't look awkward in kneeling position.

One special feature of this kit which I don't see in most other HG kit is the flipping left hand which provided a more natural pose of the GM holding the bazooka. Unfortunately, extra left hand ain't included (should not pose much of a problem using optional hands from other HG Gunpla).

the great articulation in this kit, made me think, at first sight, that it was a MG !!!... the extra armor along with the bright orange, make this GM stand out from the crowd (i guess it could be the equivalent of a Sergeant Major in the army)... i can see more improvement in your paint and detailing skills pal (which is the result of the practice, obviously) and also the pictures look very neat... one more time, congrats !!! =D

For HG kit, it really up the mark and but the bright colour can be a contribution to its fatality. Lol... I'm the lazy type when it come to Gunpla. Just slight painting and majority overcoat. Hehe. Thanx for the compliment mate...
