MG Barnaby Brooks Jr. Bunny

Time to complete the super heroes pair with MG Barnaby Brooks Jr. Bunny, after reviewing his partner MG Kotetsu T. Kaburagi Wild Tiger, a couple of weeks back. It's highly unlikely to have further super hero from the anime in MG kit but I guess most would be happy having the duos. Barnaby Brooks Jr. Bunny sure makes an ideal mascot to Bandai in red and white. In the anime, Barnaby Brooks Jr. Bunny's main sponsor is Bandai so it bears a huge Bandai logo on its chest. Other sponsor would be Amazon.co.jp. Slightly different from Wild Tiger, Bunny's good luck mode is his kick rather than punch. Both kit in 1/8 scale are about the same height however Bunny's physic is more sleek.

From the anime series Tiger and Bunny comes Wild Tiger's partner Barnaby Brooks Jr. Featuring the same inner suit design as Wild Tiger, this impressive model kit exhibits translucent effect parts that glow in the dark under UV light. Approximately 12" tall, Barnaby Brooks Jr. comes with parts to replicate the giant "good luck mode", a variety of expressive hand parts and also a separate face to simulate having the face mask open.

Assortment of decals are included to replicate all the show sponsors just like the character in the show. Runner x16, foil sticker x1, tetron sticker x1, water slide x1, eye sticker x1, instruction manual x1 included. Good job by Bandai in hiding the cut marks on the black pieves/clear parts so they won't show when you cut them off the tree.

ps: This is review is courtesy of Agent S' collection. Thank you for making the review possible and for getting me play with it ^_^

the look of Bunny is more androgynous, even feminine, but the whole design is fantastic, neat and fluid... is just the perfect canvas for the sponsors logos... there is a thin line between a plain promotional product and a collectible, but Bandai achieved a good balance and this is still right in the collectible side... =)

Awesome comment on the product pal ... Even better than what I had described in the post. Well said and very narrative... Thank you for filling in what I had missed out pal.

I have to admit that I never liked how they did the Bunny suit (LOL - bunny suit). I have always like Tigers suit and think it is the better of the two. Though chrismandesign does pose some good ideas.

Now I'm strayed to think abt the other kind of "bunny suit". Lol... I guess both portrayed their own character, just that I have a stronger attachment to Kotetsu as a whole.

I thinK Barnaby Brooks Jr. Rocks, nothing is feminine about him or his suit. He's one of the sexiest men alive. The suit is lovely awesome job Bandai!

Barnaby has its strength and I can't agreed more about his charm and personalities which the anime could reveal more if there would be another season or another movie. As a matter of fact, the MG kit of the pair is definitely a bill out.
