DX VF-25G Michael Custom Part 1

My DX VF-25G Michael Messiah Custom has been kept too long in the box. The delay were mainly because I wanted to add colour to the display stand and in addition overcoming the dilemma of transforming the valkyrie under cautious condition. Personally, I find the transformation of VF-25 more difficult to regular VF-1. Hardest would be getting the shoulders in position.

Let's start by unveiling the valkyrie without its armour parts. Within the box, the valkyrie laid on styrofoam tray with the display stand and armour parts arranged on clear plastic insert snap fitted together. The metal composite can be found on the shoulders, heels and landing gears. The colour scheme gives a predecessor feel of Maximilian Jenius and the head design alike VF-1A.

Your excitement makes it rewarding for me to do this posting. The cost is approximately 180 USD.

I do have the model kit version and its very hard to transform!! But the details and painting are so good from the close up photos!! Very well worth that 180 USD!

Very nice job on this in reference to detail and scale. The $180 USD will keep it from my shelves however :(

you spoke about the box but you didn't take a shot when he is in the box. Picture says a thousand word. However it look nice with the black background. Your photo skill is getting better!

The transformation is tricky even for adult. Surprise to hear that you go for Macross kits too!

>> Asrul "iLham" Sany
I only thing I did was only to customise blue sticker on the stand. Hee! Hee!

>> Bluedrakon
I felt the pinch when the preorder came but it hard not to buy for a Macross fan like me. Hee! Hee!

>>sl619
It's hard to collect'em all for this series of DX. I didn't buy the limited clear VF-25F, exclusive green VF-27 and movie version Alto Super Messiah.

>> deSMOnd
Yes, the paint works for DX is so good that no pasting of stickers are required. All decals were imprinted.

>> LEon
Oh I missed out taking snap shots of the toy on insert. Silly me! Hee! Hee! Glad that you like the pics posted.

I love this unit very much myself. Like you said, the color scheme of this unit, as well as the character of Michael himself, plus his relationship with Klan Klein is a dead reference to Maximilian Jenius and Milia Fallyna. At some point in the anime before his death, I almost thought that SMS has a completely red VF-25 waiting for Klan to pilot ^^;

His death in the anime is very tragic.

I have the 1/72 Transformable Klan Klein Deculture plamo kit version, but in terms of playability, I must say this DX Chogokin version is much better - full transformation with no part-swapping. This is a very good buy. ^^

True but tragic, the love ending of Michael and Klan is a total opposite of Max and Milia. Still the love of these characters remain strong and unforgettable. /72 Transformable Klan Klein Deculture plamo kit version has got great character and makes awesome memoir. Indeed, the full transformation of DX is a plus point.

nice michel custom, hope they'd give him a 1/60 klan to pair with. i recently found space to unbox my ozma dx too. btw, i have changed my blog's url to http://macrossdecultured.blogspot.com because i have decided to focus primarily on macross. so, deculture to all microns~!

Oh yes, 1/60 Klan is one delicious statue and it's true but sad I don't have the shape to even put this messiah on display at home. I have to keep it back in box right after phototaking. I really admire your delication to Macross and I really hope to strike a balance btw Macross & Gundam on blog. It seems that I neglected Macross lately. I will do my best pal. I will drop by your blog as well.
