After their legal battle defending against giant Nintendo, Enterbrain has once again goes against all odds to bring us another wonderful strategy RPG on knights and magic. Certainly the type of game I like most! I guess in order to avoid any infringements of copyright, Enterbrain has change the move space on display to hexagon instead of 'Fire Emblem' style square space.
I simply love the fantasy knight setting and character design of Berwick Saga which is far more superior in terms of graphic compared to Enterbrain's first 'Tear Ring Saga'. The level of difficulty remains challenging.
I'm at 3/4 completion to the game and this game is really tough if you want to collect the valuable items even with the help of FAQ. The weapons and shields are expensive and you only get to save the game after every 5 battles rounds. Very solid game that requires lots of patience!

I love these type of fantasy JRPG too. But seldom purchase them due to lack of understanding in the Japanese language.
well... to b sincere, i like the most survival horror games (creepy!!!), as a second option strategy games (brainy!!!)... in this kind of games, my only reference is the well-known Warcraft, but this one is absolutely unknown for me =PPPPP

I too have language barrier to such game after a while of gameplay, I got a tune to it. The stating part is always a bit tough.

Totally understandable that thi game is unknown to you cos most my friend don't play such game. It's almost unheard unless you are a fan of such game and specifically looking for it. I'm hope through blogging, my people will get to known it. Hee! Hee!
If it is in English it will be better for me.
Sad to say there ain't many such game been converted to English version. So far Atlus has being very helpful.
